Personally, I appreciate his efforts (particularly when risking his real name in the process). I think everyone gets a little enthusiastic and gets overly invested in discussion details now and then, but we're all pushing for the same thing here.

I've been wanting to setup some AMAA(ask me almost anything) for this sub for a while. And when I noticed this new BCH wallet I never heard of, from some developers I never heard of, I reached out to them to learn more, which then led to George Donnelly reaching out and showing me this interview he did with them.
It was a reminder to me that, even though I'm pretty active in the Bitcoin cash community, even I still miss a lot. So after talking with Romit u/Romit-Radical and Zapit CTO - u/Valuable-Cod291, they kindly agreed to an AMAA. I hope in the near future to get more AMAA's from other developers and businesses, as we all stand to benefit from such a diverse and talent rich community such as ours.

Just wondering because I can almost sense CBD will become illegal. Here's what's making me think this

PSNI have voiced stragetic move to clamp down on CBD 🙈 We are nearing situtation where CBD is illegal in 6 counties, legal in south due to EU Law, but with Irish establishment countiuning to enforce seizures of small business while Holland & Barrett sell CBD openly. Along with all the other little punishments the Irish government "scheme" to make life ever more taxing, are we sleepwalking into a situation where CBD is going to be labelled a narcotic, despite scientific evidence demonstrating that it's not? They might as well take the mask off and start enforcing the blasphemy law while they're at it. Maybe ban music too.

Brent Donnelly is President of Spectra Markets. He has been trading currencies since 1995 and writing about macro since 2004. Brent is the author of "Alpha Trader" (2021) and “The Art of Currency Trading" (Wiley, 2019). He writes a widely-read and highly-respected macro and FX daily called AM/FX. Over the course of his career, he has been a market maker, trader, and senior manager at some of the top banks in foreign exchange.
Brent has extensive experience trading currencies, FX options, stock index futures, NASDAQ stocks, and commodities. He is a respected macro thinker with the unique perspective of a senior risk taker. He has been quoted by or featured in the Economist, Real Vision, Epsilon Theory, the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Bloomberg, and CNBC.
Before joining Spectra, Brent was a senior FX trader at HSBC, head of G10 Spot Trading at Citi New York and global head of G10 FX Trading at Nomura New York. You have observed that the success rate for people starting out at banks is very different (~50%) to the success rate for individual traders (~5%). Can you elaborate?
Well, part of it is that there’s a highly selective filtering process at a bank. The people who get in at banks are generally pretty smart and motivated to begin with.
At a bank you also get some structured on the job training from people who have been doing this professionally and that is clearly an advantage. A good manager can help spot problems and force you to adapt and address some of your blindspots. Especially at the start of your career, when you perhaps don’t know yourself and your own personality type so well, this can be a big help.
