A list of puns related to "Doff"
In-game tooltip:
>Weapons Expert: Chance on using Cannon Scatter Volley I or II, Cannon Rapid Fire I or II, Beam Fire at Will I or II, or Beam Overload I or II to trigger the II or III version instead.
>
>25% chance on using Energy Weapon Firing Mode I or II to use II or III instead.
I was curious, so I decided to test the new doff with Entwined Tactical Matrices and with an alternate energy weapon firing mode (I used Exceed Rated Limits, but I assume Surgical Strikes would work the same way). I didn't test the expected behavior with abilities listed in the tooltip (though I did see it working when I ran the new queue today).
I did twenty activations each for Torp Spread (to test ETM) and ERL, and neither of them procced the doff (which was expected for ERL at least once I saw the in-game tooltip, but I figured I'd test it anyway). So if anyone was curious it seems to only be useful on ships without enough Tactical seating to slot the higher rank abilities.
EDIT: Also, you can only equip 1 of these doffs.
Hey everyone. Is there really only 3 Doffs and can make Aegis in R&D? Iv googled the hell outta it and all I seem to get for an answer is " HAHA you dumb SOB, good luck finding any of them". So Iv wested months upon months of getting my r&d up to craft aegis and now that I can, I can't?
Does it matter in the slightest which of your bridge officers you assign as "Department Heads" or "First Officer" in your duty officer roster?
Does it have any effect on anything?
Like it's a nice little flavour touch, but it would be better if it actually mattered to anything at all.
Recently I noticed that my Romulan captains seem to have access to about 1/2 the personal DOFF assignments as my FED and KDF captains.
Specifically the DOFF assignments where a crit gives a small boost to stats are way fewer in number in the ROM captains lists.
Has anyone else noticed this or is this some RNG has done to me?
Itβs been going on for a few weeks for me now. It seems like 10% of my DOFF and Admiralty mission starts fail. More in DoFF mission then admiralty though. Normally it only fails once, rarely twice, and once three times before they successfully start. It is annoying the hell out of me because sometimes I donβt even notice then wonder why the mission is there again. Never seen an issue like this before in the game. Searched here a few times but never saw anyone else mention this issue.
Can the Doff system just have its name changed to Lower Decks. I mean we already got a show about them. I get older I keep confusing Duty officers with Duty Free, and quite frankly I'm more annoyed that my Ron Barcelo deflector officer does not sell Ron Barcelo rum.
:P
Cryptic, not all of us enjoy the PvP race for various reasons. Please add a few doff jobs that reward those Winter Epohh Tags. Or even better, make them tradable so they can be sold and bought on Exchange. And why not add them to the dil store why you're at it?
Mau minta masukan, kalau body motor cat doff kena cat tembok, bersihinnya pakai apa ya? Yang sekiranya gak bakal ngerusak cat aslinya ππ»
I guess I had never filled out my Doff missions at space before, but I did when I was doing the dilithium weekend at the asteroid field and discovered the marauding missions that reward contraband. There was a post a few days ago that talked about farming contraband that I was going to review, but it has been taken down. Anyone have a good route/method for maxing out contraband Doff missions? I have 3 new KDF Jem'Hadar and I'm only planning β to use them for contraband and Dilithium mining. Would like to make it as efficient as possible. EDIT: Anyone happen to know the cooldown on barter GPL for Contraband Doff mission at DS9? Not listed on the STOWIKI page.
How many are there? Is there only three doffs in the new pack?
Thanks.
With the 2 week long XP event going on, figured it would be worth reminding or informing y'all about these lovely doff assignments.
Research Assignments are lockbox drops, but they are often available on the player exchange for between 3-6 million EC per depending on whether an XP event is active or not. Simply search up "Research Assignments" on the exchange to find them.
These assignments are a power-leveling tool within the game that you can buy with Energy Credits. If you make a new character and get it to level 12, you can pop around a dozen of these assignments on it, come back 4 hours later, and have a new level 65 character.
They do not use a Doff Assignment slot, so you can run 50 of these at a time if you have enough doffs for them. (Each project will need 4 doffs to run)
These Research Assignments come in several different versions. Each with their own set of missions and accolades.
For running all of the assignments in a Research Assignment chain, you will get an Accolade that will provide an item in the Lobi store (costs 0 lobi) that will award the 5,000 or 10,000 Dil Ore rewards.
For getting critical results on all of the assignments in a Research Assignment chain, you will get an Accolade that will provide an item in the Lobi store (costs 0 lobi) that will award the 25,000 or 50,000 Dil Ore rewards.
The following chains have 10 missions in them. You will get the 10k and 50k accolades mentioned above from these chains.
The following chains have 5 missions in them. You will get the 5k and 25k accolades mentioned above from these chains.
We've been toying with the below feat. It's ridiculous and I love it.
You can don or doffΒ any piece of armor as a bonus action.
If you are subjected to forced movement, you can as a reaction, choose to instantly doffΒ your armor and shield (if currently carried) to have the forced movement affect your armor and shield instead. You remain in the same location, but your armor and shield are doffed and moved to the location you would otherwise be moved to, landing on the ground.
Hello, still recently getting back into the game and never really got into doffs but just got the 27 of 47 Borg duty officer from a lock box, and I was wondering if it's any good? From an initial look it seems good but like I say I wouldn't know for sure -
Tactical - Security officer - Strength through unity (Improve ship's statistics by using Bridge Officer abilities. This officer uses Tactical and Intelligence. Stacks with other instances of Strength through Unity, but not itself.)
([Tac] 15% chance to: improve Critical Severity by 20% for 30 seconds)
([Int] 30% chance to: Increase Critical Chance by 2.5% for 30 seconds)
Now that we have a new Halloween event, what will happen to the old rewards from "Hearts and Minds"? Will the doff Dr. Sibak (clone) and the weapon Vulcan Lirpa [Psi] [Stn] be made available elsewhere, or will "Hearts and Minds" still run on Friday the 13th?
