Questions:

1. How does one use the proper adverb to modify a verb? (Exempli gratia, facunde, facundius, facundissime.) For adjectives, I know one uses the gender, but verbs do not have gender, so what is one to do?
2. How does one type macrons here?

My company is currently using Documentum's ApplicationXtender (AX) for our ECM. We are looking into upgrading to AX 8.0.

With the recent announcement of the Dell/EMC merger, I have seen numerous reports and rumors that Documentum will likely be sold off. I am concerned this would negatively impact the product, or result in it being killed off altogether.

I am wondering if it would be wise to upgrade and continue to use Documentum? Any thoughts/suggestions? Have any of you experienced a similar case where a major product used in your company was acquired or killed off?

I am trying to get ahold of the Documentum but I can't seem to locate anything. I have looked through all of my emails that I thought had the link and I have tried the google but to no avail.

Hello All. I have ECM(enterprise content management) experience with Oracle Webcenter, UCM. There is not enough Documentum professionals in my area, so my experience makes me a direct candidate. But I wanted to ask professionals about its pros & cons. If you had 0 experience with Documentum, would you still take the offer?

The question is... is that a shrinking industry? What is the growth potential? I need some industry knowledge before making this decision.

Purpose:

Serve as administrator of new Document Management Service offerings including Documentum, Kofax, and ExStream.

Essential Functions:

Performs basic and advanced Documentum product suite systems administration for Content Server and ancillary products such as Content Transformation Services, xPlore, DFS, Taskspace, and xCP. Participates in initial configurations, user training, hardware/software installation, maintenance and support, and documentation of hardware/software logs and operating procedures. Monitors system performance and capacity, and reports changes in usage. Uses results to provide recommendations to improve application performance and system supportability. Forecasts system demand, recommends upgrades, expansion, and reconfiguration. Troubleshoots hardware and software problems, takes appropriate corrective actions and/or interacts with IT staff or vendors in performing testing, support, and troubleshooting functions. Maintains the Service use cases, standards and operating procedures for a large based system, and acts as a technical resource to the IT staff and systems users. Provides on-call rotational production support.

Required Qualifications:

Experience implementing Documentum as a replacement for legacy document management systems. Experience participating in initial configurations, user training, hardware/software installation, maintenance and support, and documentation of hardware/software logs and operating procedures. Experience performing basic and advanced Documentum product suite systems administration for Content Server and ancillary products such as Content Transformation Services, xPlore, DFS, Taskspace, and xCP. Knowledge of system performance and capacity monitoring, and reporting changes in usage. Experience forecasting system demand and making recommended upgrades. Experience troubleshooting hardware and software problems, interacting with IT staff or vendors in performing testing, support, and troubleshooting functions. Experience maintaining Document Management Service use cases, standards and practices for a large based system, and acting as a technical resource to the IT staff and systems users. Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to foster effective working relationships with customers, peers, IT governance groups, and senior management. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifica

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Alot of great jokes get posted here! However just because you have a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke.
