A list of puns related to "Dai People"
I noticed that some people were pissed that the inquisitor would not adventure anymore and take more of a passive leader role, and those people usually say that even if he lost an arm he can still fight but-
The Inquisitor never signed up for all of this at first, he was at the wrong place at the wrong time and was more or less forced upon the Inquisition, if i had been in his shoes, the moment I lost that mark I would be too bolting out of the door saying "NOPE I'M DONE ! Good luck !"
What are your thoughts on this ?
I'm trying to keep the title as spoiler free as possible, but apparently there are world states where Alistar (who did not end up as king in DAO) is the warden you meet with Hawk and you traverse the fade with them recovering your memories .etc
How on earth did you make the call in your gameplay? How dare BioWare put people through such stress? it's devastating!
please share your initial reactions!
In DAO, you only need a few blood mages to completely destroy the circle and makes templar useless, and in Inquisition we have two mages single handedly almost destroying the world. The former thinks he is becoming a God, while the latter wants to restore his people's lost glory.
In my opinion, people feel too much compassion for the unjust suffering the mages are under, and forget what they can potentially do. No, is not right to lock them in a tower for an entire lifetime, much less hurting them for no reason, but magic is extremely powerful and needs control.
She's just a condescending bitch and they aren't. As a black guy, I find it hilarious when people try to bring race into these things when there's very clearly a different reason for why people don't like the character.

I honestly don't understand it when people say "I'm trying to build approval with x" in DAI. It's not like DAO where people would leave the party or turn on you if they disapprove too much (unless you turn on the Fairweather Friends trial), or DA2 where you were punished for not metagaming one of two extremes with each character. The worst you get from people disapproving of you is a few sassy dialogue lines and not being able to start a romance, but why would you want to start a romance with a character your MC has nothing in common with anyway?
I am having an existential crisis please answer this question. IS MY LIFE A LIE TELL ME, TELL MEEEEE
During Adamant Fortress did yβall kept the Wardens or exile the Wardens? And tell me why?
I played DAO, DA2 (meh) and DAI and the last one is my favourite one. I haven't played many games, but what I value most in games are the story and the characters, and DAI gave me the most incredible experience. But I've noticed that gamers (who are very gamer gamers) tend to treat this game badly, even though it is one of the biggest fandoms. And I don't see DAI in any "top games".
I'm just wondering why is that?
Pretty much what it says in the title! I was just thinking about it because I finally found out that you can see the army gathering below Skyhold if you stand on the drawbridge entrance, and I began thinking about the feasibility of employing soldiers, for role play, lore, or fic curiosity.
It made me wonder if everyone there was being paid as a normal soldier in an army, or if they were there because they believed in the cause and the Inquisition would offer housing and food either way, so they would have little overhead.
I suppose part of Josephineβs negotiations could be gathering money to support the troops (and the advisors and Inner Circle as well). Most of them seem to have left other jobs to be here anyway, but at the same time, I kind of like the idea that everyone is really here because they truly believe the Inquisition is needed right now. And taking donations or having a larger exchange of money kind of increases the chances of the organization being swayed by the money, or at least making them less impartial.
Anyway, just curious. What are your thoughts?
After you become Inquisitor? I would think that would change the circumstances of some things, but not sure. Or is it too late to recruit all of the optional companions then?
Last week when Steam had DAI for $10 I bought it and jumped in. From the first spell I cast as a mage, I was colored impressed as the move set is totally different. No idea how it looks in DA2, but I was curious who else made the skip?
I've put an obscene amount of hours into DAI. I love everything about it. The combat, cutscenes, atmosphere, etc. Here's my issue. I just started DA2 because I haven't played the earlier games and everyone praises how much better they are than Inquisition. But I'm just not feeling it :/ I'll admit that I'm not far at all. And it could just be that I'm spoiled by DAI's graphics but I just don't feel as sucked into the game as I did with DAI.
From your experience, did you end up preferring the earlier games? Does it still feel somewhat similar to DAI later in the game?
Seriously, the guy who created the veil, caused the downfall of the Elven Empire and then went to sleep in the fade for how many centuries, has the balls to judge me for doing the best I can to stop the death and destruction caused BY HIM?! Bite me you dick.
Just wanted to rant about that for a moment after finally doing a full playthrough of all DAI content including Trespasser. Feel free to agree or disagree, I look forward to a lively debate!
Currently I've got it in the alUSD farm pool but I've already got a decent stake in ALCX farm. What if I don't want to earn ALCX from my alUSD? If I trade my alUSD for DAI then make another deposit I can cycle that to continue to boost my principal minus gas fees correct?
The New Yorker has released some new footage of the capitol riot that is a must see in my opinion. The video is 12.5 minutes long.
I've seen videos and comments of ppl dealing that much dmg and as I'm currently replaying dai on ps4; I don't ever recall ever dealing even close to that. The highest I ever dealt was 1.5k on my archer, 1k here and there with my 2h reaver. I recently watched a vid of a reaver who swiped once with Dragon Rage doing 10k and I'm just baffled.
The Chinese people said that all the traditional Vietnamese dresses are traditional Chinese dresses :

So why is the ao dai not recognized by the UNESCO as a traditional dress of the Vietnamese people so that it can be protected and not stolen by another nation who could claim it as one of their national traditional dresses ?
So recently Iβve seen people minding their own business, and then suddenly they disappear! Iβm afraid that someone may have kidnapped them. Please help, Dai Li, these disappearances are happening quite often and Iβm really worried.
I want everyone to think about it. Knight Commander Greagoir; the person who's willing to kill every last man, woman and child in a Circle is considered too nice by his fellow Knight Commanders.
In many codexes theirs criticism aimed at him for basically doing his job to the letter and not easily bowing to the Chantrys whims more or less. Greagoir more or less does his duty.
He keeps his Templars on a short lease so they don't commit abuses on mages, listens to the first enchanter who he defers magical matters on, allows people to leave the tower so long as it is by proper channels and basically does his job.
For a an already horrific system. But does his job with no sadism, does it out of duty and doesn't bow to political pressure.
We have been told and shown of four circles where Knight Commanders have allowed Mages to get tortured, raped, turned into sex slaves, continuously beaten, tranquiled to make them more useful for lyrium production and more. Partially this is because luring causes paranoia, dementia and hallucinations in normal people. Partially because when you give control of come group to another abuses will happen.
And Cassandra and Vivienne try to justify this system again because they like the chantry.
What the hell!
I was walking down the street and saw a person yelling at Dai Li agents and he got dragged away. Does anybody know what is happening? Is the city unsafe now?
I absolutely love the game and have replayed it many times. I get that there are a couple of areas that seem irrelevant (Emerald graves, Emprise du lion & Hissing Wastes) but theyβre still good fun even if they donβt add to the main story.
So just curious as to why it seems to be a big opinion, especially in this sub, that it wasnβt a great game.
