A list of puns related to "Jinghong"
I don't think I'll be able to pass any of the "exams," I guess I'm just as bad at a dancing game as I am at actual dancing. Also, does anyone know how many Jinghong Dance Brocades are needed to unlock Zhen Juan's bond skill? I hope it's not 20, the max you can purchase.
if anyone has taken her, please advise on how tests go, if anyone has any review material it was be greatly appreciated!
From article: On January 4 2021, locals in Thailand's side of the Golden Triangle near Chiang Saen shared photos on social media of a sudden and unexpected drop in river level along the Mekong mainstream.
Stimson's Mekong Dam Monitor estimates the drop at more than 1 meter and China's upstream river gauge at Yunjinghong also shows a similar drop starting late in the evening on December 31, 2020.
The Jinghong dam (located just upstream from China's Yunjinghong gauge) filled during the last week of December causing the sudden drop downstream. China sent no notification to downstream countries.

Mekong Dam Monitor says, "The sudden change in river level could be devastating for fish recruitment. Fishing communities have suffered through these unpredictable drops and rises for years, again w zero notification from China. 1 meter might not mean much in China but it means a lot to fishers downstream."

This is a total shot in the dark. As the title says, I have a ridiculous, completely unobtainable super-long term goal to try each of those different cuisines (figure even if I'm not a completionist about it, it'll still lead me to some interesting food and interesting places).
The thing is, I don't wanna cheat here. There's so many 'come see the exotic minorities!' tourist attractions that are like a damn circus - people do their dance, the tourists get fed some really crappy version of their 'traditional snack', and everyone goes on their way. Not my idea of a good meal or a good time. We wanna try legit, real-deal sort of places - the kind of places that the people themselves would eat at.
We've tried the food of a couple of the easier to find ethnicities from our trips to Guizhou and Yunnan in the past (Miao, Dong, Dai), so we're trying for a couple harder to find peoples this upcoming trip. First goal is the Jino people (pop. ~20k), who apparently live in the Jinoshan mountains outside of Jinghong (tentative plan, hire motorcycle driver in Jinghong to go to that place and explore around). We'll also be going to Pu'er, with and eye for Hani and Lahu cuisines.
So yeah, I dunno if anyone here lives in Yunnan and is familiar with those places, but was curious if anyone had any ideas, tips, or recommendations?
Looking to head to Xishuangbanna/Jinghong (Chiang Rong in Thai) between June and mid-August and am looking for any tour and/or tour guide recommendations.
Not my first time to the mainland, first time to Jinghong and I'm not getting many results from Google at all - most of them match me with Kunming and other Yunnan tours.
I'm looking for day tours as I'm planning to fly in from Chiang Mai, Thailand on a Friday and leave the following Monday.
Yeah, Jinghong is part of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture.
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Do your worst!
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies ๐
It really does, I swear!

Pilot on me!!
Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
Nothing, he was gladiator.
When I got home, they were still there.
What did 0 say to 8 ?

This morning, my 4 year old daughter.
Daughter: I'm hungry
Me: nerves building, smile widening
Me: Hi hungry, I'm dad.
She had no idea what was going on but I finally did it.
Thank you all for listening.
There hasn't been a post all year!
