A list of puns related to "Czechoslovak Legion"
Time to play the wild card.
This video by CallMeEzekiel explains the story of the Legion.
To those unwilling to watch it, the Russians had an army of Czechs and Slovaks that joined the Russian army after being captured, primarily so that if Austria-Hungary lost, they'd have a chance to negotiate for their nations independence. The problem was that the Bolsheviks took power, and planned to leave the war. If they left, they'd have nothing to show allied leaders, so they tried to plan. The one they went with was retreating to the Trans-Siberian railroad, capturing trains, getting to Vladivostok, and escaping to Allied territory.
However, one possible plan that was discussed was joining the White Russian Army, and making a march on Moscow. Many historians believe that due to their years of experience fighting on both sides of WW1, and being the most supplied rebels in the area, they likely would have won.
But what if they decided to actually do that?
For those unaware the Czechoslovak legion was a volunteer army of Czechs and Slovaks fighting for the entente in ww1 on the eastern front
In our timeline the CSL fought on the Eastern front before the October revolution where they then went on a little adventure in order to get out of Russia by the Siberian railway before going to the newly established Czechoslovakia
However what happened in the Kaiserreich timeline?
It would be interesting to see the CSL perspective on how the enemy they fought were the ones who granted their wish
However it would also be interesting to see how the Austrian empire and its puppets would see the CSL
Would they be seen and treated as traitors or be welcomed back in order to encourage good relations with Bohemia and east Galicia
I honestly donβt know
Were there any diffrences between the regular russian uniform of ww1 and the czechoslovak legions uniform?
Prior to the new lore of Russia. How does Russian republic under Savinkov treat Czechoslovak legions? Have they been integrated into Russian army or granted citizenship?
I have noticed that general Wojcechowski can eb the leader of Transamur as a former commander in the Czechoslovak legions. But they dont appear to be mentioned anywhere else.
Are they planned to appear with further updates or as a part of the Bohemian tree when austria gets reworked?
By the end of the month, legionaries under GeneralΒ Mikhail DiterikhsΒ had taken control of Vladivostok, overthrowing the local Bolshevik administration. On July 6, the Legion declared the city to be an Allied protectorate,[14]Β and legionnaires began returning across the Trans-Siberian Railway to support their comrades fighting to their west. Generally, the Czechoslovaks were the victors in their early engagements against the fledglingΒ Red Army.
By mid-July, the legionaries had seized control of the railway fromΒ SamaraΒ toΒ Irkutsk, and by the beginning of September they had cleared Bolshevik forces from the entire length of the Trans-Siberian Railway

Did you know that 70,000 Japanese troops landed in Vladiovstok to support the evacuation of the Legion?! Imagine them joining forces to solidify a white army led Siberian Russian state.
What are the best books to read about the Czechoslovak legions during and after ww1? I want to learn more about this subjekt
What happened to the Czechoslovak legion in Kaiserreich?. I know there are posts that ask the same question but all of them are old so in the current lore I want to know, what happened to the czechoslovak legion?
