A list of puns related to "Cubesat"
I'm wondering what experiences people here have with CDW from non-covid years. I would be travelling there from Europe (assuming the plans for an in-person event are still on the cards), but don't know a lot about how many people attend, which sorts of people/companies/organisations, and also if it's better to attend for 1 day or 3.
Is it more of a technology-focused event or more of a sales things for larger CubeSat players?
Any suggestions, insights and experiences are more than welcome! Thanks!
I am thinking of building an optical payload in Cubesat for Earth imaging from low earth orbit with swath of (10-20km). Can be hyperspectral/infrared or multispectral. Assuming funding is not a problem (as of now).
I just want to make a simple refracting or reflecting imaging system. Most likely I would have to purchase COTS electro-optical components like (lens, aperture, stopper, CCD sensor, etc) . I was wondering if you guys can give me the resources/advices for the parameters that I need to consider in order to build the system. Thanks!
It occurred to me the magnitude of low power cryptography, and mining. Duinocoin could realistically be mined in space, on a cubesat platform as part of a demonstration of the inherent usefulness of low power devices. Iβm NOT Elon Musk, or wealthy, but I am a Ph.D student at a university noted for spaceflight firsts, and itβs possible (though almost impossible, admittedly), to crowdfund and design, build, and launch (ride sharing a must of course)a cubesat designed to demonstrate Duinocoin being mined in Low-Earth Orbit. Would anyone being interested in donating time, money, and other resources?
Ive been trying to make a cubesat network in ro/rss but all the cube sats i have are about 1.5 tons , its very annoying , so what are some mods that add smaller/ lighter cubesats since a ton of googling has led to no results
We're developing a cubesat program for education in our virtual space lab. We've got a OpenGL prototype so far, here www.satsim.space
Looking for some open source resources to CubeSats to load and experiment with. We found a basic 1U cubesat on Thingiverse as Creative Commons, but we're looking for something a little more detailed, hopefully a 3 or 6U cubesat open source model. Does something like this even exist out there or are we asking too much? Do we have to develop our own from scratch? Would anyone commercially be interested in some sort of partnership? Really need your opinion here.
Also seeking feedback from 5 - 10 people about what people want to learn about 1st. Shortest survey ever. If you're interested please visit www.satsim.space/webmvp/survey/ (< 1min)
Thanks!
Greetings to everyone,
We are a student lead cubesat team from Canada Montreal looking to buy cs-lime-11. However we have encountered that many places are out of stock. We need it "yesterday" already in order to start testing on the final ground station setup for our cubesat.
Is there anyone with the knowledge where we can purchase it?
Much appreciated.
