A list of puns related to "Croatian Wine"
Where can I buy Croatian wine online and get it shipped to the US?
Does anyone know any wine/liquor stores in the LA area that stock a selection of Croatian wine? My usual spots donβt seem to
Hi r/wine,
I've never tried any Croatian wine before and i'm keen to get stuck in for a week while i'm there. If you have anything you recommend me drinking/ visiting that would be great!
I'm here for a week and am amazed by the variety of wines they have that I haven't seen before! I've worked out that some of the names are the Croatian names for things like Pinot Gris etc, but many more seem to be uniquely grown in Croatia.
Is this right, and if so are there any we should keep an eye out for? We tried a Grk last night and it was lovely, so we're excited for the rest of the week!
Thanks!
Iβm watching old episodes of No Reservations. Tony is drinking what appears to be fabulous wines.
Are there any imported to the US?
Maybe a long shot, but was wondering if there were any wine shops in Columbus that carried wine from Croatia. My husband loves red wine and we honeymooned in Croatia, so I wanted to see if I could find a bottle of a Croatian red for his birthday.
Hello, I've been directed to this sub-reddit for advice on Croatian wines.
Which types from which location would you recommend? Someone was kind enough to give some examples of Istrian wine, but I would be interested on information of any of the other regions.
Thank you for your time!
Has anyone here traveled in Croatia and have any wine recommendations? I will be in Dubrovnik, Split, Hvar, Sibenik and a tiny island called Zlarin (where my family is from) for about two weeks. I would love to visit wineries, tasting rooms and wine bars and in general drink as much great Croatian wine as I can. I am also hoping to wrote something about the trip when I return. Does anyone have any recommendations for places they have been to or heard about? or does anyone know anyone who might know and is willing to put me in touch with them? Thanks in advance!
Got the travel itch and impulsively planned a trip to Croatia. I know very little about the country and it's wine beyond I've heard they make it and maybe it's good. So of course I had to go see for myself.
Any one know any good wineries to visit? Or wine to drink while we are there?
Didn't see very much info on similar, older posts so I figured I'd take my shot. Come through r/wine!
I will be travelling to Croatia this summer to go yachting with a group of friends. We are looking to buy some semi-sweet white wine and some red wine as well.
Since we don't have any experience of Croatian wines - Do you have any recommendations?
We usually drink Freixenet Mia, Guntrum Riesling and Van Gogh Riesling and similar white wines but don't really have any experience in red wine.
So it's typically in-expensive, semi-sweet wines we like :)
Me and my girlfriend will visit Zadar in July and I am hoping to get to try some really good Croatian wine. High quality organic wine without any additives (small amounts of sulphur might be acceptable) is my preference.
Anyone know of restaurants, stores or bars to visit?
