No, it has nothing to do with MST3K

howdy again, got a specific listing here. we're currently looking for an interior artist for a black & white crime comic (think Sin City, Deadly Class, Scorsese type stuff). this is a creator-owned book with a writer attached, so it is a mix of upfront pay as well as a negotiable back-end cut. upfront pay is negotiable too, and starts at $100 US. I am not the writer nor a creator of this series, but I will be financing it and assembling its creative team on behalf of the writer.
here were his notes on what he'd like to see from the artist:
so that's pretty open. if you're only a penciller (no problem with that, of course), we would obviously need an inker as well, so feel free to pitch for either or both positions, depending on your skillset. I say "artist" singular since I know a lot of artists do both, and it's just quicker to say "artist". rates naturally will differ between a penciller/inker team and someone who can do both.
as for my rules:
looking forward to your applications, cheers!
EDIT: this particular position has been filled, but we're still looking for artists on our other projects, so we'll reach out to the artists we'd like to work with on something else. good luck to everyone else in your endeavours o7

Its should be noted, while its obvious its not the original bats, this new guy is still both pretty well trained AND following the Bats "No Killing, No guns" rule in the city. While he isn't working with the Batman, its clear he's doing his best emulate him. What does Batman, and by extension the Bat Family do about this?
so how low is it,? whit Superman stoping crime in the city wouldn't Criminals be to afraid to commit crimes?
My son told me he wanted a comic that had kids fighting with wolverine and he said there was wolverine a two boys and two girls I think? I couldnβt find the comic he wanted so i just made this account for help, if anyone knows the name got this please helpπ
I'm a huge fan of Brubaker (Scene of the Crime, The Fade Out, Gotham Central, Criminal, etc.) so looking for some alternatives to Brubaker/Phillips comics.
I'm also very familiar with Brian Michael Bendis', Jason Aaron's and Greg Rucka's earlier works so I'm mostly just looking for some lesser known or underrated runs in the mystery and/or noir genre.
I was blown away when I read 100 Bullets a few years ago. The Dialogue, the Characters, the Art. Chef's kiss.
That lead me to the work of Brubaker/Phillips. I liked Criminal, I hated Fatale, and Sleeper is underrated.
I also loved Scalped
I really like Zoe's lo-fi, kitchen sink approach to detective work in Terry Moore's Serial. I'm looking for more crime comics with a similar vibe. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance...
