A list of puns related to "Cine Camera"
The filmback ratio of the cinecamera actor is greyed out. What am i doing wrong? In blueprint i set the filmback(sensor height and with) to 1:1 ratio, but the output film back is still the same i used in the viewport.
Please can someone point it out.

This the output, where cam1 is printed but the aspect ratio, ie. filmback is the default.
New Life Cine is a used camera marketplace and looks legit. They seem like they've been around since 2018 and have standard prices. Social medias look decent and Cooke Optics follows them on instagram, which seems really positive. All their likes are liked by people who are in the industry as well.
I don't really trust reviews on the website, but they all link to the websites of the DP's and production houses who wrote the reviews, so that sounds better than random reviews.
They are also willing to send it to ablecine to get serviced/checked out and they can have ablecine send me a report directly. I called and the guy seemed really chill and knowledgeable. Everything goes through an escrow which is nice as well.
I just can't find any posts about them anywhere, good or bad.. so I wanted to see if anyone here has heard of them before we drop over 20k.
Thanks guys!
Edit: also just found the guys linkedin and shows he has a bunch of connections and used to work at abelcine, also had his Vimeo account as well. So seems like it ads to the legit-ness
I would really rather like a upgraded bmpcc6k in cube shape. It is proving quite a popular format as can be seen by the alexa mini, komodo and zcams.
I would prefer buying it from blackmagic rather than red or zcamβ¦
Title says it all
I am visiting a large antique mall soon and I was wondering what are some good, cheaper vintage 35mm still-film lenses I should keep an eye out for? I really can't afford brand new cine lenses as of right now.
I would like to adapt these for use with my Blackmagic Ursa Mini?
I have used a vintage 28mm F mount on my Ursa. I was just wondering what other lenses/lens mounts/lens brands, that I should keep an eye out for?
I love the look of IMAX Film but given the fact that it's insanely difficult/expensive to make a movie with and no one besides Nolan is using it extensively I feel like the format is mostly dead end long term. Add on the projectors themself and the film rolls are extremely large and complicated. It's part of the beauty but I think with theaters being stretched thin and you simply can't roll out lots of 70mm IMAX showings. Long setup times and you need a skilled staff with equipment to show them and to date there are still very few of them and more theaters are going digital.
With this pandemic and streaming becoming more prevalent I can see the large multi screen theaters being phased out but I think there is a place for larger screens and movies that are more impressive to separate themselves from the home. This is where a digital IMAX camera could really shine. Digital cameras have made huge strides in the past 10-20 years. The cream of the crop right now are the larger format Alexas and Reds.
Do you think it's feasible we could see a digital cinema camera that could shoot with a sensor similar in size to the current crop of digital medium format still cameras like the Phase One medium format cameras? Something that can shoot 24 frames from a 100mp-150mp sensor and be usable? I'm not even going to touch on the idea of a true digital IMAX replacement since we don't even have consumer level stills cameras with sensors that big but we do for smaller medium format sizes.....sensors that are much bigger than even the ARRI 65.
I'm assuming we would need quite an advancement in processors to handle this but I wonder if its something that we could see down the road. If somehow they could get a camera like this developed it could actually be used by lots of directors instead of just 1 movie every few years.

I want to be able to move my cine camera with my xbox controller. How do I do this? Can I also set it so the trigger acts as a zoom increase/decrease?
