A list of puns related to "Chindit"
I am working on a thematic Burma Chindit/ 14th army list for a friendly escalation league. I used the generic platoon as I wanted to include some SBS commandos and they weren't in the Burma selector. This is more of a reason to work on a passion project than me trying to be super competitive. Eventually my goal is to have a lot of options for my force. I would like to add a Grant and a Sherman plus some local forces.
My idea is that I have a Chindit patrol supported by a nearby Indian armored and infantry unit. The force is going to be veteran infantry heavy. Chindits have behind enemy lines and more importantly fire and maneuver. This is my first common wealth army and I figured I would use rapid fire to capitalize on the fire and maneuver combo but I am open to suggestions.
My only concern is that I feel I am a bit light on AT, having only a 6pdr and a Boys ATR. That being said I am used to being light on the AT as I mainly play Japanese.
Any feedback would be super welcome! Thanks in advanced.

Anybody have any idea how the Chindits, a long range, deep penetration unit, communicated with the rest of the British army?
Do the mule teams have any in game use? Can they be used as tows or are they just for looks. Couldn’t find anything in the British book.
Thanks
My great grandad fought in Burma during WW2 as a Chindit. The only info we have from him was that he had to be left behind in the jungle due to malaria.
I've just finished 'Wingate's Lost Brigade' by Philip Chinnery which only briefly touched upon Operation Thursday and I would like to know more about the actual events my ancestor was associated with.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. We're trying to use the forces online record but are having difficulty.
Looking for a bit of advice of what I should buy for 500 points of Chindits I'm not sure what is good in this game coming from 40k
