Chappaqua Puns

I've been biking from the start of the Empire Trail up to Chappaqua recently and am looking for an alternate route that isn't >60 miles or so from Van Cortland Park start. Any recommendations? I've seen posts here recommending the route GW Bridge to 9W North. I wonder if it's feasible to cross Mario Cuomo Bridge and also join the Empire Trail on the east side of the Hudson?

We have currently narrowed our home search to these 3 towns based on my husbands commute. The only problem is with covid and two small (unvaccinated) little ones, exploring the towns, shops, restaurants is a little daunting. I'd love to hear how people who live in these areas feel about the people, vibe and their neighbors.

We are pretty laid back people who are really active (if that even makes sense). My husband is big into BBQ and beer. I am a triathlete who loves a strong Manhattan and good restaurants in off season. Love walking and exploring and lots of parks, cool shops and fun and interesting people. Help us find out "match" town!

EDIT: will we get that neighborhood feeling with kids playing outside in any of these towns?
