I've just relistened to Keith Jarrett's Changeless album for the 1st time on a while and was reminded how great it is! it's also unique, jazz improvisation, but not, at the same time. My question is can any one suggest albums or artists similar (ish). i love EST, various ECM albums, some gogo penguin (Still a stupid name..). its that hypnotic medative quality that i'm after. Thanks.

I found this album at the library 20 years ago or so, and I always come back to it in a certain mood. There is something about the rhythm sections interplay and tone, and the colorfulness of the piano that really does it for me.
I've never gotten too much further into Keith Jarrett's catalog, but the one time I tried, it was a totally different vibe. Does anyone some other records to try that have a similar feel?
I'd love to hear ideas about other artist's records that may have a similar vibe as well.
Persons have minds that think thoughts and do actions. However, these things necessarily require time and change. For instance, when I think to my self " the sunset is beautiful" this thought necessarily has a beginning, middle and end. When I commit myself to doing some action, like picking up a glass of water, it necessarily has a starting and ending point.
So given the fact that thoughts and actions require the existence of time, in what way is God a person?
Edit: I assert that it is metaphysically impossible for a changeless God to be a person.
God is said to be a person that thinks thoughts and acts upon the world. But how is that possible if he is changeless? Thoughts and actions necessarily occur within the real of time. They all have a beginning, middle and end.
I've seen a few instances mentioning timeless and changeless creating causes (i.e. God), but I'm wondering if this isn't just an oxymoron.
Creating implies a point of creation.
For creation to occur, change must occur.
A changeless, timeless creating cause must always create or never create (not exist).
