Hi,
I'm looking for some extra information about this armor in the Met collection: https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/24814 - I'm in particular interested by information about the cuirass and helmet.
To give a bit of context, in my company we play Burgundians knights during the reign of Phillip the Good - so around mid-XVth century. The dating of Chalcis fall would fit with those dates (although the region is a bit far from Burgundy, the armor does not stray far away from European style from what I can see).
That being said, some other armors of the Chalcis hoard look rather later (this one in particular looks really late XVth century, maybe even XVIth century with the articulated bevor).
According my knowledge of armors, the cuirass fits well in the mid-XV look but I'm far from being an expert. The sallet looks more recent too with the articulated tail in the back.
So, to sum it up, it anyone has more information on those parts (the site of the Met museum is a bit scarce on this subject sadly :/

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
