Zaradi narave dela in predvsem cen nepremičnin, razmišljam o selitvi na Štajersko, zaradi ponudbe stanovanj v poštev najbolj prideta Celje in Maribor. Ker pa sem bil v obeh mestih le na "obisku" in nisem tam nikoli dejansko živel, me zanimajo "insiderske" informacije o obeh mestih. Celje mi je nekako na prvo žogo ljubše: lepši center mesta, lepša okolica (Savinjska dolina, toplice), bližje centralni Sloveniji in morju, imaš pa vseeno vse kar potrebuješ. Maribor je zanimiv zaradi bližine Avstrije, je pa mesto meni osebno res preveč industrijsko obarvano.
Ampak pustimo to. Bolj me zanima kako domačini ali pa ljudje, ki živite tam, komentirate dogajanje v mestu. Zanimajo me pa sledeče kategorije:
- dobri/slabi deli mesta za živeti (cenim mir, čim manj kriminala in glasnosti)
- kako je z gnečo/iskanjem parkinga/javnim prevozom/kolesi
- kakšne posebnosti glede strokov življenja? Npr. cene ogrevanja, cene komunale...
- kakšno je prebivalstvo? Mogoče kakšne posebne "navade" ali pa osebnostne značilnosti "povprečnega" prebivalca.
- vreme/kvaliteta zraka?
- možnosti rekreacije? Sprehodi, šport, kulturno dogajanje ipd.

My boyfriend and his family had an argument and they are throwing us out. They payed for a hotel for me and my mother to stay at for 3 days, but me and my boyfriend still have a room full of things; not to mention I own a pet rabbit.

My great grandfather, Alois Kugler, seems to have been the Major of Celje during the first years of the Second World War. I am unable to find any information about him online and wanted to ask if by any chance people with historical knowledge could tell me about the German occupation of this city and if any relating info is known. After he was killed by partisans(maybe) his family flead to Austria and never returned. Any information or knowledge about this timeperiod is very appreciated. I would love to know more about my families roots, good or bad. Thank you for reading and thank you for anyone willing to help.
Edit: information update: he wasn’t major. He was definitely upperclass and had gotten rich with a pickled cucumber production
