A list of puns related to "Carnitine"
Thought I was cute for saving exactly $1 by buying the powder instead of the capsules. The flavor is horrible, like eating sour patch kids out of a dogs asshole jesus

Has anyone else noticed signs of hypothyroidism when injecting LCAR?
I think I have some interesting results after testing out injectable LCAR. Now with the ape brain that I have, I saw a few videos on YouTube (including Derekβs) about all the benefits of pinning LCAR and decided to give it a try. I did little to no research and decided it was a tremendous idea to stick as much LCAR in my ass as I could.
I took one shot of ~ 600mg at roughly 9am, feeling fine most of the day and then got pretty sick around 5pm. Symptoms include cold sweats, low body temp ( averaging 96F for the next few days), nuked appetite, crazy brain fog and an inflamed neck. I stopped LCAR after that and decided to get some blood work to see if I just nuked my thyroid.
Now hereβs the interesting part. I got blood work done about 5 months earlier and my TSH was at 3.1 ulU/ml,itβs not horrible but itβs definitely not great. Now about 2 weeks after I pin LCAR I get blood drawn and my TSH is now at 4.7 and free T4 is .7 ng/dl . Iβm definitely in hypothyroidism range plus Iβm symptomatic.
What I believe happened is that I must of had a weak thyroid to begin with and injecting LCAR suppressed my thyroid enough for me to start showing symptoms of hypothyroidism.
Curious to see if anyone else had a reaction like this. Also a good reminder to do actual research before you start injecting sups in your ass.

Also the finding that it seems pretty low in depression.
In fact, it's becoming more pressing and suggestive that there is some metabolic overlap between depression and chronic fatigue, with the difference being that CFS does not necessarily alter mood directly, or presuppose to distorted negative/destructive thinking, fortified by the fact that $$RIs seldomly work.
So, has anyone had any experience with longterm use of L carnitine?
Iβve heard sooo many pros about this amino acid, but is it just bs? I know itβs safe and really the only con is having to pin everyday. (itβs not orally bio available) I am natty and donβt plan on hopping on gear anytime soon but am considering injectable L carnitine for my next cut. Any tips or sharing your experience with this compound is appreciated!
After taking multiple supplements that did nothing for me like CLA, Apple Cider Vinegar, etc. L-Carnitine is the only thing so far that is truly helping me lose unwanted fat. I always drink a tablespoon of 3000mg 45 minutes before my cardio workouts and I just love the endurance boost it gives me and how much I sweat. Itβs truly my favorite supplement. I know many people say the oral bioavailability is horrible but in my experience it works for me. Different strokes for different folks I guess. I also am down 7 pounds within a month. I workout at night so I take the Carnitine, B12, and a scoop of my nitric oxide booster without caffeine and always have a great workout. Definitely recommend.
Hello Guys, does L carnitine really aids in fat mobilisation ? Seeing mixed reactions/results across youtube.
I am currently using my topical mixoxidil orally, but i was intending to use it topically mixed with Carnitine for added efficacy. I was considering mixing the l carnitine l tartrate with my stemoxydine instead of the min now that i am using it orally. Does this make sense? Thanks.
When you eat L-Carnitine, your digestive system creates TMAO, that has been correlated with cancers and cardiovascular problems.
This is usually remediated by eating garlic as allicin should stop the creation of TMAO, but you need to eat a lot of raw garlic for it to make a difference, and itβs a very annoying thing to do every day.
Another way around TMAO is IM injection of L-Carnitine, which should be the best RoA, but Iβm personally not going to mess around with needles.
So, would rectal administration of L-Carnitine be as effective and as safe (or safer) than IM ? Iβve looked around and thereβs not much research about it, would it also not produce TMAO ?
Hi folks. First time poster here. Wondering whether anyone can shine a torch on acetyl l carnitine. I've recently started taking this, in an attempt to raise acetylcholine & dopamine. I think I understand that it first raises A & then D? At which point does A decrease? If this is correct, how is it determined by how much it raises each? I know this may sound simple, and excuse my ignorance & way of putting it, but does it top up, so to speak, one to the max before the other one? I know the balance of these is extremely delicate, I've felt the effect of an imbalance between them. Also, if hypothetically one was to supplement with huperzine A a couple of times a week, in addition or on its own would that be OK? Would appreciate any insight! Thanks.
Curious what people's comparative experiences have been using Panax Ginseng versus ALCAR for energy/mood/motivation lift? Dosage regimens tried? I know the potency of Panax is all over the map depending on the particular product used. I would assume ALCAR is more consistent brand to brand?
Defy has injectable L Carnitine, is anybody injecting it subq? Leaving crazy knots or is it easier than t? How much are you injecting at a time (either IM or SubQ)
Hello guys, some of you might have seen that Derek did a podcast on PKA channel where they talked about Kyle (FPSRussia) transformation how he changed his physic from fat, border line obese, to ripped fitness model. Later Kyle shared his exact protocol what he was taking and how he trained on his personal channel, very motivational. Kyle talked very highly about l-carnitine, what kind effects he was getting and how good it was. I became very curios to try. I'm, unfortunately, right now obese, my stats are: 6' tall, 232 pounds, 25 y.o, male. Training for about a half a year, 6 days per week, dropped weight from 287. My questions are:
I still not decided about this compound, just wanted to hear your experience. My motivation behind taking it, is to increase speed of weight loss. Recently I added evening cardio (1hr bike, 130+ bpm) to my program.
hey guys thanks for helping, here is what i think i need to add:
Choline of some form (Alpha GPC?) DHA Vitamin D Vitamin C
& here is my mockup for a stack - i included stuff ive tried at the bottom (under NOLONGER) but everything above in AM/PM is stuff i want to keep going with or testing out

I bought l-carnitine from Thorn, based on Andrew Huberman reported studies about how it can help depression. I may or may not depressed, not diagnosed, mainly I feel flat all the time, punctuated with anger and stress induced neck pain. I started on 3x a day 330 mg caps.
I didnβt feel any better, any happier, but after 10 days I realized my capacity for sitting still and concentrating on my work was MUCH better, more so than I can remember. This could be related to my workload too, could be several things, but it was definitely better.
I also noticed a HUGE loss of libido, like total. Iβm old ish, and libido has been a problem for a long time, this past year it took a nosedive , so much so Iβm worried. But on the l-carnitine it was striking.
I googled carnitine and focus, and discovered some studies showing a link, this was cool to me, since that was not an expected benefit. The libido loss, I canβt find any info about. Libido is complicated, I know.
Anyway, Iβm torn. I enjoyed the focus boost, the creative help. But libido has been a concern for a long time, and anything thatβs detrimental Iβve avoided. The bottle is almost gone, not sure about re ordering.
I've had treatment resistant depression for a bit over three years now and am trying to find a supplement to help me after five different prescription meds (such as SSRIs) have failed to work for me.
The first supplement I have tried was 5-HTP (200mg daily), and while I noticed a decrease in suicidal thoughts, along with less of an appetite due to the extra serotonin from the supplement, I also noticed I had very little motivation or energy, most likely due to the additional serotonin screwing with dopamine levels.
After researching supplements for a while I found two promising candidates. SAM-e: which appears to boost noepenepherine, dopamine, and serotonin; and Acetyl-L-Carnitine: which depressed people supposedly have low levels of.
Now, I'm a little concerned about SAM-e, especially with its effects on noepenepherine since I have anxiety, so I am not sure if I should try it. As for Acetyl-L-Carnitine, I've only found studies (granted, ones that had great results) that claim its effects on older people (ie 50 years+) with depression. I have not been able to find any research for its effects on young adults.
If one of these supplements is a good idea for me to try, where is a good company I can find them from? It'd be nice if I can get it from a place that follows FDA standards, actually cares about making a quality supplement, etc. etc.
I'd really appreciate some guidance. Right now I am trying to find just a single supplement to use to keep things simple and cheap. Thanks for your time.

So I just started taking L Carnitine in powder form for the first time ever. But hearing all about this injectable L Carnitine and how ineffective the powder form is, I'm beginning to wonder if its worth it adding it to my supplementation in powder form. Or are the benefits for L Carnitine negligible regardless?
Been using gorilla mind AR for the first time on my cut and was just ab to restock td i have ab 2 days(12pills) left. But Itβs sold out anyone know any company that sells legit stuff preferably Amazon so I can get it quickly until Derek restocks.
I am currently supplementing l-carnitine with my post workout meal that contains carbs. The released insulin helps to push carnitine from the bloodstream into muscle cells.
I do it to boost androgen receptor sensitivity. Has anyone in this sub tried something similar and can share his results?
So i recently went through a consult with marek health trying to get TRT (due to low test) but sadly wasn't able to get it as the physician told me to first book an appointment with my PCP to address my high ferritin levels then run labs again in 8-12 weeks. Along with that, they recommended the following supps which is quite expensive through marek and i am tempted to buy it but at the same time wondering if it's even worth it?
Here are the supps recommended:
injectable l-carnitine
cialis
DHEA SR and Pregnenolone SR
I am also wondering if i just get DHEA/Pregnenolone from a supplement store, wouldn't it work as well?
?
I had it a while ago, few of the aminos and carnitine were below normal. Dr brushed it off. Iβve been trying to find a Dr to retest, every single one of them tells me they have no idea what this test is or how to interpret it so no. Are lows typical in even people without issues?
How were your results if you had it checked? Did the dr advice anything? Have you supplemented.. any progress? Also what type of Dr did the test for you?
