From Ship's wheel to Capstan path.
This is my hypothesis: The Capstan in The Sloop is off-centred "by design".
If a player is at the Ship's Wheel, the shortest path to reach the Capstan and start raising the anchor is the A path.
This little deviation invites players to use the A path instead of B which may result in an uncomfortable interaction.
What do you think? Has this been discussed before or answered by the DEVs?
I have a few broken cassette decks. I was wondering if I can swap them out. The one that I have that's messed up is a 12vdcCCW. If it's the same, can I swap it out?
I'm trying to help someone across the country troubleshoot a turntable. They can send me a digital recording of the record playback. Is there anything that can measure wow and flutter from a digital file other than Capstan?
Back by popular demand we're going to be hosting another mod hunting event on 9/25 from 8pm-12am EST.

So how is this going to work?
When we begin the event, we’ll start broadcasting on the Sea of Thieves Community Twitch Stream.
We’ll also provide information on the geographical region of the server we’re connected to (US-East, EU etc.) to assist in you being able to locate us.
If you find us and successfully sink our ship and provide a screenshot in this thread, we’ll give you either an Obsidian 6 Pack or an Obsidian Capstan! Now of course there are some rules and eligibility requirements you can find in the FAQ below. If you have any other questions, go ahead and reply or send us a modmail and we’ll get them answered for you.
FAQ
Q: Does every crew member get codes if they find and sink your ship?
A: Since we have a limited number of codes to give out, we cannot guarantee that every member of the ship will receive a code. Yo dawg we got more codes this time, bring your crew.
Q: Can we team up with other ships to sink you?
A: Technically yes, but the ship that sinks me is the one that gets the prize.
Q: Are you going to let us sink you?
A: No, we’ll defend ourselves but ultimately, we want you to be able to sink us. There will likely be times where it will be just me on a ship.
Q: Will you change servers/regions?
A: Yes, we plan on changing servers every few hours to a different region to allow more players a chance to find us. We will display the region in this thread and on the twitch stream.
