A list of puns related to "Candlepin Bowling"
Question to reddit, are there any places to play candlepin (not duckpin) bowling the DC area? Ive lived here 35 years and have seen duckpin bowling but never seen candlepin.
Hey all, my 3 year old is really into bowling and Iβm all about supporting this. We went to pinorama and had a blast last week but he had to use the ramp and wanted to bowl for real like his pop. Anyway, I was thinking duckpin/candlepin would be a good option. Is there anywhere to do it in or near south tampa other than duckyβs? It can get pretty rowdy in there so trying to think if thereβs another alley I could try.
TIA!!
Preferably t accessible. Exclude Needham bowlaway because I know of it but Iβm banned
This is just a shot in the dark, but is anyone aware of anywhere within an hour or so of the Triangle that has bowling lanes without automatic pinsetters? For example maybe something like the basement of an old church, social club, etc.
The reason I ask is because I'm a huge fan of candlepin bowling, which only exists in a few New England states. Looking for creative ways to be able to do some bowling down here.
Here are examples of each:

Curious if such bowling centers are still in existence.
Been to most of the Candlepin spots in New England... do we know the one in castlerock was actually filmed?
