It might be an idea to send a copy to your MPP and/or Premier. Let them know exactly what your fighting for.
12 years after the first bill was introduced. So much further to go, but we can work with this.
So, I'm wondering. Especially since M-103 and bill C-16, people have been saying we don't actually have freedom of speech in Canada. But Section 1 does state the freedom of expression (and subsequently, speech). But we have the non withstanding clause, and it's my understanding that this clause can be enacted to strip any of our rights away. So my question is: Is this how laws which compromise freedom of speech can be passed? Or am I just not interpreting our charter correctly?

I would like to know why some sections of the Canadian charter of rights and freedoms are for everyone, but others are only Canadian citizens. It makes sense that only citizens can vote in elections, but when it say everyone who do they mean.
Is it to protect visitors to Canada from other countries?
Dose it dictate how we deal with foreign countries?
I am proud that Canada attempts to protect Human rights around the world, but is their a legal obligation on top of a moral one?
