Animal House and Caddyshack do not hold up
As far as comedies go, these seem to be the standard. To be fair, Animal House did seem to spawn the college comedy genre. That being said, it just doesnt hold up. Its not funny. Caddyshack has some funny scenes for sure; Anything with Rodney is great, and Chevy was good too. But one of the best comedies of the 80s? Bitch please. Also the Bill Murray ball washing over his scenes being improved can eff off as well. He was better in Ghostbusters. IN FACT, I submit that Ghostbusters is a better comedy then both of them. And so is Trading Places. Hell 48 Hours with Eddie Murphy is a better comedy.
