I own a Bō staff and very frequently train with it outside on a Grass-field next to my house, I also usually take it to my friends house (0.5 miles from mine) without a case.

What are the laws on a Bō staff? (Is it considered an offensive weapon?)

Could police see me and try to take it off me?

Could I tell them that I’m just training and it would be ok?

If they stop me while I walk to said friends house could they try to arrest me for “carrying an offensive weapon”?

Ports are a really great little side activity, after awhile though, you do run out of things to actively seek in ports beyond bones for scrimshaws and spices for supplies..

So i had an idea, three new 2h ports/eastern themed weapons the Tetsu Nagamaki, Death Lotus Daikyu Yumi (just daikyu Yumi for inconvenience once built) and the Seasinger Bō each would have a unique passive or inherent abilitys. And, while we're at it, i was thinking we could make port weapons and armor that much better.

New Weapons

Tetsu Nagamaki - Nagamaki are eastern blades with a very long hilt but standard blade length. Due to its unique composition the Nagamaki can be both considered a polearm and a greatsword. It would come with the following special and passive

• Shift stance - special attack requiring 10% adreniline that lasts 5 minuets or until the special attack is used again or the weapon is unequipped. Shift stance changes the weapon from default greatsword to halberd greatly increasing its accuracy by 2 tiers (ie t90 accuracy instead of t88 for elite) but lowering damage by 2 tiers (so t85 as there is no t86 in that same example)
• Expertise - passive effect while wearing at least 3 regular tetsu armor parts this weapons accuracy and strength are raised to the next tier (ie t87 for standard, t90 for elite) and are raised 2 tiers while wearing full superior or elite tetsu (ie t88 for standard, 92 for elite), full superior and elite means all 5 parts as well.

To unlock the Nagamaki, buy the blueprint from Bonnie in Waiko. It will cost 10k chimes, and then require 50 plate + 1 tetsu Tsbua and 20 golden tortle shells to create. a new tradeable material will be avalbile to make at an invention bench with 50 invention called "bundled shells" which would act as the equivalent of 20 tortle shells available to purchase via the ge or player trade for those unable to gather them.

Death Lotus Daikyu Yumi - for everyones memory sake, it should be shortened to Daikyu Yumi once created/banked. The Daiku Yumi is a fragile yet incredibly powerful longbow created from bamboo. Requiring great dextarity to wield it would be one of very few weapons ig with an agility requirement, in this case, 60 agility and would have the following special and passive

For some reason whenever I astral project there is always a spirit that manifests as a faceless demon looking thing but I feel like it's in disguise because it has always served as a protector. BASIC INFOS:

She has blue eyes. She has a darker skin than the average pale pink. 170 cm tall (very tall for a Japonese woman), 72 kg (does not have excess fat, robust constitution),Blood Type = Unknown, AGE: 30, she is missing an eye.

Occupation and Experience:

She is an official priestess of God Netero’s fanatic Nen Church (a Nen-based blend between Shinto and Buddhism) since age 16, giving her special privileges among the society and a vast knowledge about religion, traditions, rites and Nen. People, that have seen her doing her job, seem to agree she is very professional and very talented as a priestess but they also agree that it is a bit uncomfortable to stay around her when she goes off the rails. She learned the principles of the Nen of the flame at age 6, then she was initiated to Nen at age 10 and she has trained her Nen abilities and Nen proficiency every day since that, under the care of the head priestess. 4 years ago, she joined the Hunter Association to fulfil her passion by becoming a BEAST HUNTER, specializing herself as an Unidentified Beast Hunter. Recently, she has gained the Single-Star Rank.

Background:

She was born in one of the God Netero’s temple shrine because her mother was one of the shrine attendants, which had been left by her partner. The Head priestess of the shrine taught her Buddhist and Shinto teachings, God Netero’s Mottos and the links between Nen and a person soul. The priestess also told her many stories about magical creatures and old folklore, from which she developed her passion towards legends and the unknown. She was initiated in the use of Nen by the priestess herself, which was a powerful Nen Exorcist. The teachings of the head priestess and the religious life were the inspiration on which she constructed her abilities. She is not only a very proficient Nen user but she also has a special talent for understanding people’s Hatsu, by looking at how they bend the aura. ← asspull

I remember the game having a pretty grey color scheme. It was dark/scary. I believe you could fight with zombies/gargoyle-looking creatures with a bō staff. I think other weapons could be used as well.

It was 3rd person and you could roam around fairly freely.

I played the game on the black PS1 demo disc as a kid, so my memory is not top-notch, but I've always been thinking about trying that game again.

Has anyone tried it yet? Would really like to get one for anxiety and stuff on the go but its kinda pricey.

For the past few years I've been using a long bag made of artificial leather to carry my equipment to the dojo. Today I went into my local hunting shop that sells fishing rods, knives, air rifles, shoes etc. The bags they sell are very long and more resistant to tearing than the bags made from artificial leather you would normally get for a Jō.

Just thought you should know.

Naturally, the mind and body prefer quietude.

To attempt to force order onto disordered things is presumptuous; sleep, and that's all. Grasping quietude, dwell in ordinariness and act towards (your) outcome. If you do not, then by silence you accord with demonic Chan and it's institutions that absorb and control the completion of your outcome.

These are the first few things I hear as I wake up. As I crack my eyes open I become aware of a few things. Firstly It's cold, a bite right to your bonnes cold. Next, I realize I’m in a capsule of some kind. As soon as I become aware of this, the panel in front of me begins to open upwards on a hinge somewhere above me. Blinking I slowly step out of the pod into the much warmer air and am greeted with a room that appears to be some sort of… Closet? There is a bunch of random clutter, boxes here, cans there. Shelves are placed seemingly at random and a few pieces of what could be called litter lay on the floor.
