I am getting conflicting information about this ability, some guides for the Lethality / Ruffian discipline state that this ability should mainly be used for AoE encounters but at the same time some guides say that this ability should be used even in single target encounters. I asked in-game and got conflicting answers as well, some say it's a waste of energy / tactical advantage in single target fights and some say it's necessary to use it even in those situations.
Is there a "definitive" answer to this somewhere (which I obviously haven't found yet) or is there no clear answer to this?
Does anyone know if there is a feasible bushwhack or trail to be able to get down from Tunnel Ridge Road down to the Martins Fork area?
I am putting my group up against some of these tomorrow. Can you think of some examples on how they could use this ability??
The bugbear thug strides up to 10’ and attempts To grapple a creature they’re undetected by. If they succeed, they also deal fist damage to that creature.
So, if they’re undetected, they would have to be fully undetected all the way through the action.
The only situation I can think of is sneaking up on PCs at night that don’t have low light or dark vision.
