A list of puns related to "Breakfast At Tiffany's"
So I just finished watching this wonderful film from Blake Edwards, and I even found out that the book from the movie titled "Nine Lives" was actually being sold.
It made me wonder if the contents of the book provided more insight into George Peppard's character, Paul Varjak. Also, another thing, do you guys think there is any significance between Andy's book titled "Nine Lives", and Holly's cat who has nine lives? The idea could be farfetched, but I was curious what you guys thought of that one.
My boyfriend bought me Breakfast at Tiffany's for my birthday because he loves colourful makeup (has also bought me ABH Moonchild). I am very much a basic nude eye and red lip girl so I have no idea how to use this color other than as an eyeliner. π
I'm an NC15 with dark brown hair and eyes if that helps. π
Kind of sad films with an "artsy" feel that make you feel a little sad at times, but have some dry humor here and there
Edit: thank you for the wonderful recommendations!
I'm looking for fairly short reads that focus on the trials or life of one (or a small group of) character(s). I'm really interested in books that are entirely focused on character, life in general, or some major moral dilemma, without trying to be too deeply philosophical through lengthy exposition. Good themes would be loneliness, death, a sense of "otherness", growing up, and overcoming difficult situations.
I don't care if there isn't a real firm plot.
Ideally books would be on the shorter side, because I have plenty of longer novels to read, but I would like to have a few quick, compelling reads between the longer lit-fiction types.
Liked it enough, but I think Blake Edwards is a better comedic director (Pink Panther) than dramatic (mostly this). The silly parts, like the date scene, is really good, but the drama fell very flat. Plus the Japanese guy was so incredibly racist lol. What are your thought guys?
Hi! Iβm part of a bridal party and the theme thatβs being discussed for the shower can best be described as millennial brunch meets breakfast at Tiffanyβs (think oversized sunglasses, pearls, mimosas).
Iβm not able to be part of the planning meetings as Iβm out of state, but Iβm of course trying to contribute.
Anyone super good with themes that can suggest any other interesting ideas. Iβm terrible at this stuff.
Loved Breakfast at Tiffany's, got addicted to it and couldn't put it down. If the book's not a novella that's okay, but 300 pages or less is preferred. Looking for a classic written before 1965. Hurry I'm not reading a book right now!
You were so dashing solving the rubik's cube one-handed, gazing with disinterest out of your first storey window onto the parade. I waved at you.
Call me some time :)
