This is such a childhood fantasy for her. All those years of idolizing and "loving" people she could never actually meet are coming true. And way beyond that because she's actually potentially in a possible relationship with the object of her until-now-unrequited love (potentially) after all the unobtainable people she's imagined being with her whole life.
It's sad that it's going to blind her to so much, though it seems she doesn't take much from people. But it'll just take a little acknowledgement or relationship tease from Usman to keep stringing her along.
I’ve always used an antler billet for secondary thinning and I’ve gotten pretty passable at it. Watching videos of the really skilled knappers has motivated me to purchase a copper bopper though (since that’s 95% of what I see people using)
Any advice for making the switch? I imagine there would be a difference in technique but I couldn’t find any info anywhere

Ok so for some clarification for this insanely stupid joke I’m making “American Pie” ,which as I’m sure you know held the record for longest song to chart at no 1, was dethroned by Taylor’s “All too well” ten minute version.
If you’re not familiar with the song “American Pie” it has a lot of symbolism and references to the culture of its time.
You can find in depth analyses online if you’re interested, but the main reference here is to “the day the music died” which is, the day 3 musicians of the time were killed in a plane crash. Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and Jiles Perry Richardson Jr, aka “The Big Bopper.” “The three men I admire most, the father, the son, and the Holy Ghost.”
And here I make the case for Taylor to be our modern day “Big Bopper” because I cannot stop listening to “The very first night” (for example lol.)
Am I the only one who would like to see them get another chance to race? I mean they technically did before Bopper had to drop out the day before the race started due to health. The season was all about second chances and they never got to have one technically.

Look, the 90s and early 2000s were a wild time, I think we can all agree on that. But sockem boppers were false advertising. At no point in my extensively cited youth had I ever chosen a sockem bopper over the tried and true cotton filled pillow. Plus once they got a hole in them, that's it dude, no more sockem no more boppers.
Did they have potential? Unequivocally But at best, they were as fun as a pillow fight.
