A list of puns related to "Azadirachta Indica"
I suffer from insomnia since the age of 5 and chronic fatigue since the age of 20. I mitigate my insomnia-induced cognitive deficits/decline and lack of energy with anything I can get my hands on, nootropics, supplements, cannabis, psychedelics, modafinil, leaves of obscure plants I find in the tea sections of exotic stores.
One such tea is Neem Tea (Azadirachta indica). This tea has quite a potent and positive effect. It makes me incredibly clear-headed, despite lack of sleep, and when I don't lack sleep it is an unusually powerful nootropic. It gives me a very strong pump-like feeling in my muscles that I usually only get after weightlifting, and this feeling significantly enhances my exercise performance. On top of these effects, my mood is significantly enhanced throughout the entire day if I drink 1g of tea from Neem leaves in the morning.
It seems like dream stuff, however there are reports of it having some level of toxicity. Studies are very conflicting, with very different results and very different approaches (some using the bark, some using an extract, some an oil, or it's an animal study, or an unreliable journal). For the life of me I can't find anything conclusive on this. Does anyone know in particular of any studies or anything conclusive on the toxicity of this plant?
Thank you extremely much in advance.
In Ayurveda, every part of the Neem tree is used to make medicine. Neem leaf extract is used for leprosy, eye disorders, intestinal worms, skin ulcers, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, gum disease, and liver problems. The bark extract is used for malaria, stomach and intestinal ulcers, skin diseases, pain, and fever. The flower extract is used for reducing bile and treating intestinal worms. The fruit extract is used for hemorrhoids, intestinal worms, urinary tract disorders, eye disorders, diabetes, wounds, and leprosy.
A brief history about my condition: Starting from the age of 13-14 (I am 24yo now), I started facing moderate dandruff/dry scalp issues, and by the age of 17-18, it got so worse that if I used to comb my hairs a rain of flaky dried scalp would fall on my shoulder and clothes. So I consulted a doctor and got recommended ketoconazole + coal tar-based shampoo. But the issue with this shampoo was that it used to give relief for only 1-2 days (still better than 1-2 hrs of regular shampoo). Soon after a few years, I stopped using that as I no longer considered it as an effective solution, but soon the condition got even worse, and it started spreading on my face (mostly in the mustache, beard, and nose area). So I consulted another dermatologist, and he diagnosed it as psoriasis and said that even it's mild, there is no cure for it and recommended NOSKURF lotion. Since the results were the same as ketoconazole and I felt the lotion bit harsh on the scalp, I stopped using the same. Considering its psoriasis and incurable by allopathic standards, I went for homeopathy and did the course for two months with no results (as per the doctor, it takes 3-6 months for some tangible results). Fed up with all of these, I finally started looking for organic ayurvedic alternatives like Neem leaves extract (Azadirachta indica), fenugreek water, and aloe vera.
My results with aloe vera: For application, I used the homegrown aloe vera extract (in India, aloe vera is very common) and applied it for 1 hrs and then rinsed the hair with lukewarm water. The results from the 1st application were really great, the flaky dried scalp was reduced by almost 70-80%, and the scalp itching stopped completely. Now I am following the regime twice a week, and the conditions are becoming even better.
Disclaimer: Though it might be only an issue of the dry scalp (or maybe mild SD) which got solved due to scalp hydration through aloe vera, I still thought it would be helpful to share this info with you all.
I've heard great things about the serum (and I was gifted a bottle) and I'd like to incorporate it into my skincare routine. Thing is, in the morning I use TO Glycolic Acid and at night I use the Differin (adapalene .1%). I know there are some ingredients/actives that you can't mix with retinols or AHA. I looked up the ingredients of the Byroe Tomato Serum, but I'm not super knowledgeable in the ingredient names for things like Vitamin C, etc. This is a long shot, but does anyone know if I could use the Tomato Serum after either the glycolic acid or Differin without causing a negative reaction? I've included the ingredient list here from the Byroe website if it helps:

I think itβs a good idea to list all of the newly reformulated sunscreens of the failed Korean sunscreens. The new formulas look promising and many of the brands are being extra careful this time with independent testing, so we can be 100% confident that these sunscreens are the labeled SPF. I will list the sunscreens that I have came across that have been reformulated. If I missed any, leave them in the comments below.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

So... I may or may not have been keeping a weather eye on upcoming SPF releases ever since Director Ahn In-Sook mentioned in passing in a video that many cosmeceutical brands have either put a stopper on releasing new sunscreens or postponed the release of those awaiting completion to better the formula and ensure they're up to snuff, thus there will be a slew of SPF releases come March. Heaven forfend we suffer the wrath of deadly solar lasers cuz finding The One is nothing short of a bluidy struggle.
What I've noted in these new releases was a combination of robust formulas and new filters. Exciting! I've already translated the INCI lists and entered them into Incidecoder & Cosdna. Okay, enuff intro. Have a look-see at some of the freshest sun armours to keep safe from baneful UV rays.
