A list of puns related to "Atreus"
All the other parts of the trailer are directly related to published short stories (which was great to see btw), but I don't recall anything leading up to this encounter. Last I read Atreus had teamed up with the Solari to fight Xerath.
They both hate the aspects, both have been controlled by them against their will and finally Aurelion sol hates the aspect of war, not Atreus.
I feel its not too far fetched
This one is half question half rant. I play with my cousin on PlayStation a lot and itβs almost ridiculous how many of my favorite games are games he hates, but I know heβs not trolling on this one because he will stand on this hill until he dies for some reason. My favorite game of all time is God of War, but he hates it because of Atreus. He says he is incredibly annoying and he ruined the great franchise that God of War βusedβ to be. I meanβ¦ I guess I can understand that standpoint, so I stayed neutral on his stance, until I asked him βHow far did you get?β This mans really said βI uninstalled the game when he missed the elk.β This dude hardly made it past the INTRODUCTION. I wouldnβt even consider that past the introduction in fact, thatβs like literally 5 minutes in. Here I was thinking he atleast got to the part where Atreus foolishly tried crossing the bridge and fell below with Kratos, but he didnβt even make it that far. After hearing that I stopped taking him seriously on the topic because he didnβt even give it a proper chance and anytime he brings up his hate for the series now I just cringe over the mic about it cause I know arguing is pointless. He says his high school professor agrees that Atreus was a bad decision to add, so that leads me to my question: Do you think Atreus was a bad addition for the franchise? If so, why? Because I am open to anyoneβs thoughts as long as they atleast gave it a try and have proper criticism.
Im confused I read "In Battle, Broken" and Lula is 68 but in her LOR card art she seems like mid to late 30's. And then she says something along the lines of "I know you dont seem to age but the rest of us MORTALS do". So is Atreus Immortal because of the Aspect of War still being inside him, or does he just have an extended lifespan?
So when you kill Magni, Atreus makes a comment about how he was really not that powerful anyway because he and modi were only βminor godsβ, since theyβre demigods technically. Mimir also calls Magni a βminor aesirβ whereas Thor is β not minor at allβ.
Well that got me thinking, so is Atreus. In fact, Atreus has a demigod father technically and a giantess mother, so if anything he is only 1/4th god. Why do they play it off like heβs a full-fledged god but not Magni/modi?
Iβm also asking this question on the ghost of Tsushima, last of us, and god of war subreddits. Imma compare the results when Iβm done
I have a Keyboardio Atreus and like it quite a lot. I almost love it! I would love it if it was split and the thumb buttons were better positioned.
This lead me to think that maybe I could parametrise a Dactyl Manuform (or any similar fork) to use a the same layout as the Keyboardio Atreus, that is 5x3, at least 3 thumb buttons, and an extra row with 4 keys next to the thumb buttons.
I've tried to play around a little in the Clojure code, but couldn't get it to produce 4 keys on the bottom row.
Can someone help me out with this?
League released a new story βIn Battle, Brokenβ where the Aspect of the Moon is briefly mentioned.
Itβs surely painting an upcoming war between the Solari and the Lunari, but in this story, they said that the Aspect of the Moon hasnβt risen up to take lead of the Lunari. This ties up to the whole Diana missing-in-action trope weβve had for years, which they havenβt even explained why yet. We NEED to know why!!!
Why is she missing? Where is she now? What is she doing? Why the heck are the Solari finding the other Lunari ppl easier than the Aspect of the Moon herself? Why are they constantly painting her as the avatar who vanished when the world needed her most??
I hate how Riot would just brush on this but completely neglect providing us more details. Theyβre so irresponsible and I hate how Diana is on the receiving end of that neglect!
Our girl deserves better!!
Sincerely,
A League lore nerd
Personal I think that Tyr would be wary of Kratos but ultimately understanding of him of his issues. While with Atreus he would find the boy charming yet naive.
Towards the end of "The Call" season cinematic we see Atreus calling upon the celestial powers of the Aspect of War and flying off towards the stars. Since Atreus is supposed to be a mortal who embodies Pantheon without being an aspect do you think he'll try to release Asol of his shackles to form an alliance against the Aspects and Darkin?
Letβs assume that Thor is so strong that kratos canβt defeat so Atreus puts alcohol on his arrows and gets Thor drunk for kratos to kill
I don't know why, but I find it funny that Mimir somewhat lives with the two gods in their little shack in the woods. They even gave him a table to sit on! I don't know why, but I was assume Kratos would get rid of Mimir after a few more annoying moments. Guess he just kept him around for information, but I like this little space he has.

She swore revenge on Kratos for killing Baldur but it was Atreus who allowed it to happen due to his Miseltoe quiver. Iβm wondering if Freya will also go after Atreus despite acting very motherly towards him for most of the game.
