A list of puns related to "Tantalus"
If the NVIDIA leaks are true. And we inevitably get our Final Fantasy IX Remake. I hope the game makes more emphasis on Tantalus and its members; like how the Final Fantasy VII Remake gives more emphasis to Avalanche and its members. I think it would be cool story-wise and also give the characters more room for character development.
It's pretty clear now that with TPHD and SSHD being ported by Tantalus, they're becoming Nintendo's go-to studio for quick-n-dirty HD ports. They may not have a lot of additional content, but at least they work, unlike Sonic Colors Ultimate.
So would their own ports of Grezzo's OoT3D and MM3D to Switch work? I personally don't think the games need that much additional content since they're pretty meaty to begin with. That said, I'm sure that they will need a lot more graphical work than the GameCube and Wii games since they were designed to look acceptable for a handheld rather than a console.
Tantalus's ports aren't the best around, but what the heck, I'd rather see Grezzo keep doing what they're doing and probably work with Capcom for an Oracle duology remake. Tantalus is at least competent enough at their job.
What do people use as a flight stand for their tantalus? As the forgeworld kit doesnβt come with a base or stand.
Also what is the right base size? Or does it not matter as you would always measure from the hull?
Tantalus was this greek mythology guy given eternal suffering, food and water constantly out of his reach.
I thought it'd be cool if a OC related to him had a power to do that to himself.
He just decides he's invincible now, and he is. You cannot approach him because space bends as he pleases, he is always out of your reach. Shoot projectiles at him and they'll never approach him. Sort of like that Infinite guy from Jujutsu Kaisen but without the infinite power, just the absolute defense.
Is this too OP?
TSX-V: GRID
Tantalus Systems develops and delivers purpose-built smart grid solutions for public power and electric cooperative utilities. They address the growing $4.7 billion market opportunity in public power and electric cooperative utilities. Tantalus supports over 200 utility across North America and the Caribbean basin with a 99% retention rate.
Their goal is to digitize the distribution grid, currently power grids have one way power flow with no intelligence at the end. Tantalusβ solution is an integrated smart grid with multi directional power flow and digital connections to intelligent endpoints. They aim to improve the efficiency, reliability and sustainability of utilities and the communities they serve. transforming the energy infrastructure is a multi decade market opportunity for Tantalus.
When they get hired by a public utility for example, the first thing they do is build out a proprietary internet of things (IoT) communication networks specifically for the utility. Then they can connect that utility to a variety of different devices with a distributed edge computing platform. The devices they connect to include electric meters, load control switches that turn on and off A/C, distribution automation equipment, and also street lighting infrastructure. They use the data from the devices they connect to to help the utility gain understandings in their grid, where they need to invest in infrastructure, and how to prepare for events like extreme weather.
Theyβve posted 18 consecutive quarters of positive EBITDA with a 7 year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8%. They posted a negative quarterly EBITDA for the first time in 4 years in Q3 after the costs associated with going public. They finished the quarter with a strong balance sheet, holding US$14.6 million in cash and US$32.9 million in assets.
I think this company is in a good place, they solve a really common problem, as was evident in the US this year when a big cold front hit the south cause major outages and shutting down electrical grids. They recently went public and raised a ton of cash which will be huge in scaling their business. I think theyβve managed the company really well for a small business and have a ton of potential.
Not financial advice.
I'm looking to either purchase the 15g Sky Pilot or 2 7g jars of the Strawberry Fire but I can't and would appreciate any input from y'all
edit. I'd also like to add that both of these products had a 40% and a 50% price drop on OCS recently
There was a broadcast by Tantalus media about AoE 3 DE for that event last Oct 1. Does anyone know where to watch the replay? Im intrigue about the future content Tantalus have in-store for AoE 3 DE. Hopefully any official devs can tell what happened to the broadcast.
