The Olympics were founded in ancient Greece and dedicated to Zeus/Jupiter at Olympia. Zeus was the "king of the gods" after usurping his enemy Kronos/Saturn in the mythology. The Olympics glorify the godless human spirit of rebellion and competition which resulted in a sole victor, pleasing Zeus.

Αρχαία ΞŸΞ»Ο…ΞΌΟ€Ξ―Ξ±/ Ancient Olympia GREECE

Ancient Olympia was established in Greece as the most important religious and sports center. Here were born the most important games of ancient Greece, the Olympics, which took place every four years in honor of Zeus, an institution with pan-Hellenic radiance and brilliance from antiquity to the present day.

According to UNESCO, there is no archeological site in the whole world with such a close reference to the current reality as in Olympia.

The archeological site of Olympia includes the Sanctuary of Zeus, Altis, the sanctuary grove, the Stoa of Echo, which separates the sanctuary from the stadium.

From New York Post: Bull Statue Uncovered At Olympia, Greece

Archaeologists uncovered a small bronze statue of a bull, thought to be one of many gifts to Zeus offered at the Temple at Olympia, Greece. About 2,500 year old. Would probably work on most Pagan altars, today. I'd use a reproduction myself, if they became available.
