A list of puns related to "Arendelle"
I moved to QuΓ©bec City in October 2021 and I say it is a real life Arendelle (Frozen fan here)
The old town is encircled with 4.6 km of walls.
Inside the old town there is a castle. Ok not really but there is the Chateau Frontenac, a hotel which looks like a castle.
Like any 1800s kingdom, QuΓ©bec has a fort - La Citadelle de QuΓ©bec protecting it
While not on a fjord, QuΓ©bec is a port city located on the Saint Lawrence River.
The weather. Like Arendelle, QuΓ©bec has mild summers and cold and snowy winters. It is the snowiest major city in North America.
The terrain. QuΓ©bec is located on a plateau, and not too far away are the Laurentian Mountains. Covered with trees, these mountains are a site to behold, especially in the winter. And are quite reminiscent of Arendelle
QuΓ©bec contains North America's only Ice Hotel; an masterpiece of construction, design, and engineering, and can easily appear to be a monument to Elsa's ice palace.
QuΓ©bec has North America's largest winter park, and is a city where outdoor winter activities are a key part of the culture. People here don't just tolerate winter; they celebrate it
As a whole, QuΓ©bec in the winter with its frozen rivers, snowy wooded mountains, and its European style Old Town really does have an Arendelle style vibe to it.
And no, no one is paying me to write this but if I were Disney I would try to work out some Frozen licensing deals with the city.
Greetings. I am addressing a certain Redditor on this subreddit who was wondering if a later scene in F2 where Anna was unveiling a statue in honour of her mother and father was also Annaβs coronation. Intuitively, I came to the conclusion that it was indeed her crowning. Yet, this was not a reasonable answer and may disregard traditional Arendellian customs for a coronation.
Upon further inspecting the scene, one can note a woodwind rendition of βSome Things Never Changeβ, which is the first song in the movie.
This occurrence is also seen in Elsaβs coronation. A woodwind rendition of βFrozen Heartβ is heard in the scenes prior but related to the coronation.
Thus I concluded that during an Arendellian coronation, a version of the first song (excluding Vuelie) will be played.
Apologies if the question has already been answered or if my statement is far too obvious.
Edit: This post is completely incorrect ,I have found. Apologies for my poor judgement.
So I'm on my third playthrough of Kingdom Hearts 3. The more I play this game, the more I'm starting to notice it's many, many, many faults. Arendelle is unfortunately one of those faults.
Now, a lot of the issues I'm discussing, I have the exact same issues with Kingdom of Corona, but the big difference is the fact that the level design is so good in KoC that it honestly kinda lets me forgive those issues. The same cannot be said for Arendelle.
First, my thoughts on Frozen in general (this is relevant I promise): The first movie is really good. It's not perfect, hell I wouldn't even call it great, but it's such a beautiful looking flick was some really great characters and a banging soundtrack. Like, wow this soundtrack is amazing. My only major issues is Elsa (she's an unlikable twat and it's hard to sympathize with her in any way), Hans (the dumbest plot twist in Disney history), the trolls (fuck those little shitbags), and the strangely anticlimactic ending. All in all, quality Disney movie, a very B tier flick. I have not seen Frozen 2 but I have been spoiled on some things, most of those things are preventing me from ever wanting to see it.
Now let's talk about the world in KH3.
I'll get some pros out of the way before I go into the rants.
I like how the world looks. Oh don't get me wrong, the level design is fucking awful and probably the laziest looking Kingdom Hearts world in the history of the entire series (including Chain of Memories), but I'm admittedly a sucker for winter aesthetics and this world knocks that out of the park.
The boss against the ice wolf heartless thing was fucking awesome, one of my favorites across the entire game.
And yeah, that's about it. Time to bitch.
EXHIBIT A: PLAGARISM
This world's story is just.... Frozen all over again. As in, there are a bunch of cutscenes ripped straight out of the actual fucking movie, and many of those cutscenes are looooooonnnnnnnggggggg. I feel like this was a botched attempt on Nomura's part to undo the fan complaints that the worlds in previous games were too abridged and lacked any of the charm their original movies had. Taking scenes from the fucking movie and just adding SD&G to it is even fucking stupider. They had Elsa sing THE ENTIRETY of Let it Go (the most overrated Disney song after Hakuna Matata), and SD&G are just... there in the fucking background, doing nothing as Elsa is freezing the entire landscape. No attempt is made, they just stand
... keep reading on reddit β‘Forgive me if this is ignorant, but to me Itβs like living in a desert and having people selling sand. Considering they live in Arendelle and its literally snowing and icy all the time, collecting ice and selling it just seems redundant.
I saw this fluff fanfic between Anna and Elsa (warning: Incest) and it has Anna as the Captain of the soldiers.
If she is, (except for the whole Elsanna thing) then I can see her left her status as Captain when she becomes Queen of Arendelle at the end of Frozen 2.
I remembered the flashback about Agnar's story about Arendelle and the tribe (I forgot the name) and said tribe worked with magic and his dad building them a big DAM.
And I swear while young Agnar is looking around the forest seeing the guards and the tribe having so much fun with the magic before his dad started killing its tribe leader, I saw some Arendelle guard women.
Is it true that Arendelle soldiers had female members in their group?
Hello!I want to make an "army" for my young daughter so she can fight her older brother's Napoleonic French troops. She LOVES Frozen and I wanted to make her an Arendelle Army Maybe even Cavalry & Artillery. Elsa and General Mattais will be the HQ. 54mm is the size. In 'Tangled', the Guards use crossbows, swords & spears. Not really appropriate to fight musket wielding French. Gaston in 'Beauty & the Beast' carries a Blunderbuss & Pistol.
MY question is... what weapons would they carry if "modernized"??

What is Arendelle? How big is it? What is the geography of it?
Going by Forest of Secrets and Frozen II, the castle and town is primarily Arendelle. There's some land outside of the castle town but it's mostly uptapped wilderness.
Still, I've seen some fans speculate that Arendelle has multiple provinces and the castle town is just the capital. This comes from real world Norway and because the coat of arms shown in Frozen. Maybe they live in Arendelle, Arendelle similarly to how New York City in New York state is a thing?
Just curious on opinions. No right or wrong answers. It just seems to be the most hated KH3 world and I seem to not mind it much. If anything, San Fran annoys me the most. I love BH6 but I hate trying to track down the treasure chests through all the city skylines. So, what do you all hate about Arendelle?
QuΓ©bec City is a city of 532,000 (800,000 in the metropolitan area) located in Canada. It is Canada's 7th largest city (by metropolitan area population) and is the capital and 2nd largest city of QuΓ©bec, Canada's second largest province (and a nation in its own right). It is Canada's Oldest City, having been founded in 1608. It is the only walled city in the Western Hemisphere north of Mexico and hence a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is also the largest city in North America where French is the day-to-day operational language.
I moved there in Oct 2021 and I love it.
But as it is relevant to us, QuΓ©bec City is a real life Arendelle

While not on a fjord, QuΓ©bec is a port city located on the Saint Lawrence River. Fun Fact - QuΓ©bec means: "Where the river Narrows"

Now I am pretty sure that some Scandinavian city can feel even more Arendellian but for those in North America (which statistically would be a significant portion of this sub just due to the way Reddit demographics work) a trip to QuΓ©bec is a lot easier than flying to Norway. And trust me it is well worth it.
And no, no one is paying me to write this but if I were Disney I would try to work out some Frozen licensing deals with the city.
