The main rhythm in this song is cool, i would like to know how it works. To me it feels kinda like swing, but in reverse. Could someone explain the theory behind it? I wanna try to implement it in a composition, but dont know how.
Yo Turkish guy here. I recently got into Arabic pop music. Could you sand nibbas give me some good suggestions. Thanks.

>Hey everyone, could really use your help. There is this that opens in English with a women in an Arabic accent singing (Iβm pretty confident about accuracy of lyrics): βhello hello, i love you so, do you love me. Say yes or no... then a disco pop beat comes in and the pace picks up. She repeats the same lyrics. Then it switches to French i think, maybe same lyrics translated βalo alo...β then it goes to Arabic. Itβs fun song. Near the end she is singing in English and lyrics are something along the lines of βwhat can i do, what should i do... just me and youβ again with Arabic and I think French repeating.
I'm currently researching worldwide pop and rock that happened from the early 60s to the late 80s. While it's fairly easy to come across lists and communities that have archived a ton of material on Asian, South American and African music, it's incredibly hard to find any such thing on the middle east and the areas often referred to as Persia and Arabia.
Now, I've come across a few decidedly "mainstream" releases from that period, but I'm looking specifically for Rock and Pop - Folk, Punk, Artistic experimentations, Rock, Pop... you name it. Essentially music that aimed at being contemporary during its time.
If anybody could point me in the right direction or recommend me specific artists, that would be amazing.
So Capricho Arabe is supposed to be Tarrega's idea of what Arabic music sounded like, but can anyone pinpoint what it is about it that is supposed to sound Arabic to the average Spanish person of that era? Thanks.
To be more specific im looking for Female Pop Artists that wouldve been on the radio in Jordan, and I guess the surrounding area, circa 2006-2010. Shazam wasnt a thing at the time and Ive been trying to locate this artist for nearly a decade. All i know is it was a woman, likely under 30, with what I would consider to be a pop song for arabic artists.
I don't know what to do... Please, send help
The song is absolutely insane. I think it's a pop song, it plays at Jimmy John's a lot. It features a seemingly Arabic vocalist and at the chorus he cracks out of his range while wailing like "ada unda und da da da!!!!". Sorry, I literally can't make out any of the words. If it helps, the chorus melody is E G# A B A E. Shot in the dark, but if anyone can help i'd forever be in your debt. Also, it is NOT Tunak Tunak Tun.
Edit: The song isn't very dancy. The beat and structure reminds me a little of "Abracadabra" by steve miller band.
I like to listen to pop music while I study, and I was looking for some foreign stuff, and I thought Arabic pop music might work well. Could you guys link me to anything you in particular like?
