A list of puns related to "Apoapsis"
Hi, I'm quite new to this game and I've just gotten into orbit. I was wondering how I can turn on the Apoapsis and Periapsis markers in the map as I gotta figure out how to get back home. Thanks in advance.
I have only played for two days, so I am very new to this game. Do I need to upgrade something now to be able to see the apoapsis? It was visible in map mode before the update, now it's not.
Help!
For example, if I want to go from LKO to Jool, I make the maneuver node to get an intercept, burn, use the needed deltaV, and speed up time, then my apoapsis will take a massive drop, sometimes dipping down to Duna's orbit once I leave Kerbins SOI. This has happened with a few other craft on my main save when leaving Kerbins SOI. I made a new save and tried to replicate the issue but could not. Im worried it may be the save is messed up as it is one I have put a good bit of time and effort into, which also has a large number of landing probes and satellites in it. The main offender is an orbital tug/station I made to take landing craft to other planets. Other craft do so too, but doesn't seem to be as dramatic. It seems to mainly effect larger craft. It may be worth noting that this did not happen until recently, and have not installed any new mods in the time that everything was normal till now. Has anyone had this issue in the past and have any ideas of how to resolve it? It makes interplanetary travel infeasible, which is annoying in a game where that is the core concept.

... keep reading on reddit β‘Can someone please tell me the Apoapsis and Periapsis around the moon during the Apollo missions, such as Apollo 8, 10, 11, etc etc. Also, if you can, please can you send it in Kilometres?
Thank you for reading.
When I watch guides on YouTube I see the line indicating the ships course and a marker for the apoapsis and the periapsis in the map view. In my game I only see the course but no markers. Do I have to unlock this?
I canβt seem to see the AP marker in map mode on the projected path of the shuttle, and because of this idk when my apoapsis is above 70km anyone has a fix?
So I am working on some orbital stuff and I need to prove the semi-major axis equation that goes like:
a = (apoapsis + periapsis) / 2
as well as the semi-minor axis one, which is:
b^(2) = apoapsis * periapsis
Now, I am a high school student and this stuff is not yet trivial to me. I need someone to at least explain to me how to go about proving these equations because I am currently lost.
So I do the whole start gravity turn at 100m/s at 10 degrees then slowly tilt to 45 degrees by 10km above sea level and then, where should my prograde be ? should it keep moving until it goes to 90 degrees? or should it stay at 45 degrees? Should I fire my engines prograde to raise my apoapsis quickly or what exactly?
I made it to orbit several times and landed on the mun, but I'm still confused about how to achieve an efficient orbit, because I end up having a bad trajectory that takes so much fuel to circularize
I just recently got KSP and have been following some tutorials to get started. When I was trying and finally got to orbit there are no apoapsis and periapsis tags on my orbit path.
Am I just being stupid?
I cant see Apoapsis and i am new to the game so i dont really know how to fix it.

itβs probably some super obvious setting somewhere, but iβve been googling for twenty minutes and canβt find it. iβve clicked and i clicked every button at the top of the screen in the map but nothings changed
Ive been trying to orbit around the mun but i cant line up the apoapsis with the mun or its orbit. i have powerful enough rockets with plenty of fuel to reach it, i just cant line up. help
I know I'm probably doing something wrong or forgot something simple, but when I'm in the map/zoomed out view, where I can see my trajectory; why when I have an orbit around the planet, is my apoapsis and Periapsis not visible? Sorry if it's a dumb question, I'm new
Hey guys, I'm trying to launch my spacecraft into orbit in career mode, but the trajectory shown on the map is only a white line and I do not have info about the apoapsis. I tried the orbit tutorial and I do see the trajectory in blue with the apoapsis info/altitude, but for some reason I don't see it when I launch my own spacecrafts.

I have this payload of 4 satelites that I want to put in the same orbit but with 30Β° inclination changes on each one. But each time I change the inclination using the Normal the Apoasis gets way higher. Is there a way I can avoid this or is the only way to do this just by changing the Normal and then playing around with the Prograde and Retrograde?
