An interesting read, even though it's dated to the 1960s. Has anyone here read this? It was from the official NY, New York American Museum of Natural History book store according to the title page

The American Museum of natural history needs a major update to their fossil halls
Really, it feels like theyβre from the early 90βs. There are even a few theropod skeletons that are in the tripod stance right next to specimens in the correct orientation. None of the small theropods have feathers in the artwork on the display signs which is a major blow as well.
This is a huge contrast to places like the Smithsonian, which is super up to date with their dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals.

How long does it take to see the American Museum of Natural History?
I'm looking at taking a trip to New York in the spring to see a few Broadway shows but it's just as exciting to see the museum of natural history.
How long would you say it takes to go through the museum? I only read plaques when I'm particularly interested and I'm mainly interested in biology and paleontology.
What are the best places to go in the museum with these interests?
How much could I see by going two days (about 12 hours total)?
This is not a trip I'll be able to easily repeat as I'm Canadian, not exactly rich, and am very busy so I'd really like some input.
And if you know any other cool places in New York I'd love to know about them!

Went to the American Museum of Natural History in NYC today. Saw this guy towering over me in the mammals section. I almost never hunt these things because they are tough to take down! Very majestic.

American Museum of Natural History Saturday 3/20
Hi all! Really enjoyed the MoMA with u/Lucky-District-176 this past weekend and thought I would send out an open invite for this Saturday, 3/20 at the American Museum of Natural History.
Just bought a ticket for 11am. You can buy one, too, if youβre interested here: https://ticketing.amnh.org/
Comment here if you would like to attend or maybe would attend a future museum trip. Even if you canβt get in at 11, Iβm sure weβll be there for a few hours to join you later.
Day of Iβll comment on where you can find me with my orange jacket. Feel free to message me once you buy your ticket and Iβll share my phone #.
Hope to see you there!
Edit: Iβll be at the Central Park West (upstairs) entrance at 79th Street at 10:30am wearing a bright orange jacket. No need to get there before 11 though!
