Op 14 Oktober 2021 het Panyaza Lesufi, LUR vir onderwys in Gauteng, en Joost Strydom, uitvoerende hoof van die Orania Beweging, 'n debat oor die reg van Orania se bestaan gevoer. Dit het gekom nadat Lesufi op Twitter goedkoop “politieke punte” voor die plaaslike verkiesings wou aanteken toe hy 'n opmerking gemaak het dat Orania nie mag bestaan nie.

Lesufi se grootste struikelblok is dat hy nie-rassigheid voorstaan. Hy sê dat alle kinders van Suid-Afrika saam moet skoolgaan, speel en dans. As dit so rooskleurig was in die kamstige “nie-rassige” Suid-Afrika sou Afrikaners nie die moeilike taak aangepak het om op verskeie maniere vir kulturele bestaansreg te veg nie. Nee, as Suid-Afrika 'n nie-rassige land was sou Afrikaners gelyke geleenthede gehad het en nie gevoel het of hulle kulturele bestaansreg op elke front bedreig word nie.

Instructions For Making Your Keto / Low Carb Milk Tart: Tart Base

1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
2. Mix together the flaxseed and coconut flour, erythritol and cinnamon into a mixing bowl. Mix to combine the dry ingredients.
3. Add the melted butter and egg and mix well till crumble is formed (if you’re using a stand mixer or hand mixer, select slow).
4. Spoon the mixture into a bake form and press into an even layer across the base and up the sides.
5. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes until the base is firm. If the base starts to rise from air bubbles, prick it with a fork and gently press down. Set aside to cool slightly.

Custard Filling

1. Reduce oven to 160°C.
2. In a bowl whisk together the egg, egg yolks, vanilla essence and erythritol.
3. Add the fresh cream and mix well.
4. Pour mixture into base and gently place in the oven.
5. Bake until the custard is just set and there is a slight jiggle when moved. The milk tart filling in the video is quite thick, it took approximately 60 minutes to set. Thinner fillings will set quicker.
6. Sprinkle with cinnamon powder and place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to set. Overnight better.
7. Serve and enjoy.

If you want to make a smaller tart, you can easily adjust the ingredients.

I read they were apparently quite close to the white trekkers through their shared experience but how much do we actually know about how they were feeling about the whole trek? Furthermore do we know what happened to their descendants like we know about the white trekkers?

I'm looking for someone to help me with a mod about names. I could not find a consistent namelist, and even in that case it wouldn't be the same as asking a native.

There are many cultures in South Africa! I'm not even sure about the use of "traditional" english names. I have seen Northern Cape has a high density of afrikaans, so I have used this: https://forebears.io/south-africa/northern-cape/forenames. But then again, I did not see any (or many) "Charles" or "Simon" afrikaners in Google.
