Just wanted to share a few tips for recovery, feel free to share what worked for you guys.
Wear 2 pairs of snug fitting underwear. Wear them to your appointment too.
Get yourself 2 gel ice packs, you can get them from the supermarket or pharmacy.
Keep one ice pack in the freezer and the other in Between the 2 pairs of underwear. Rotate them about every hour
You will be able to walk around if you need to without holding anything and much more convenient then a bag of peas.
You can also get instant ice packs with would be good to use on the way home for the clinic if it's a bit of a drive home.
Be ready for when you get home so you don't have to do anything for the rest of the day.
If you get in a kickboxing match with a lawnmower, you will be defeeted.
I will still have a part time job with health insurance, but I want my husband to be able to run our store like he’s always dreamed of. It’s a pretty good area for things like DnD, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, etc. and there isn’t a game store in the town we want to set up in just yet. We know already that we won’t be making a King’s Ransom, and have general knowledge of what we’re doing, but we would really like some advice and guidance from someone who has similar experience. Just some dos/don’ts and things we probably haven’t thought about yet that someone who’s been there would know.
