A list of puns related to "Wind fetch"
I'm getting Wind Waker for Gamecube soon, but I'm not look forward to that part of the game after I heard Miyamoto apparently publicly apologized for it.
How did you guys react to it? Did it make you want to stop playing? Was it difficult amassing the rupees needed to pay Tingle over and over?
Let's take a moment to put that into perspective. Hurricane Sandy, the largest Atlantic hurricane on record, produced maximum wave heights of 13m in the open oceans, which is equivalent to 42 feet. These waves are forecasted to be just 8 feet smaller than the LARGEST Atlantic hurricane on record, and this is on a Lake, with no hurricane present. We have been watching NOAA wave heights for many, many years and have never seen a 34 foot wave in the forecast. May the good Lord watch over any mariner who has to be on the water these next few days. Stay safe.

My wife Lacy was in a car crash in April of 2020. Well, not so much a car crash as a car winging her at a crossroads at 54mph. She hit the pavement so hard it fractured parts of her throat and collarbone. Her left arm broke in three places. It was brutal.
As I stayed with her and her family in the hospital, we had plenty of worries. She had a serious concussion, and we were anxious it might lead something permanent. The doctors kept talking about the use of her left arm and her fine motor skills. It was only one single nurse who touched upon what would turn out to be the most permanent damage; her throat.
At first, the doctors just told her not to speak. We were told she had to rest and regain her strength, so there would be no speaking for weeks as her throat healed. She also had to wear a sort of neck brace, this awful-looking metallic thing. She was in desperately low spirits, but so very thankful for everything we did.
As the weeks turned to months, most of her fractures and broken bones healed; but not her throat. Lacy still couldnβt talk, no matter how much she tried.
I remember once when we stood in the kitchen. I looked her in the eyes and told her I loved her, and all she could say back was this wheezing whistle. She had some sort of panic attack and locked herself in the bathroom, trying to scream.
We went through a lot of trouble trying to restore her voice. Hour after hour of strenuous exercises. She even had a few minor surgeries. At one point, Lacy started drinking this sort of home remedy from something she learned online. She got stomach cramps for about three days afterwards. No wonder though, most of that βrecipeβ was just rosemary, olive oil, and some bullshit flower extract you could order online.
The result was always the same. Lacy locked herself in the bathroom and cried. A parade of disappointment.
I grew impatient seeing her despair over and over, so I joined her in a hunt for a treatment. But it had to be something guaranteed. I couldnβt bear to see her disappointed again. Trying to find something to restore a broken voice is close to impossible online. Just sorting through the scams is a full-time job. Whenever I had a few minutes over at work I would post in forums and check search alerts. I had to open a second e-mail account just to handle the sign-up spam.
I got a few earnest responses, but most of it just linked to dead-ends or holistic nonsense. There were a few genuine responses with links to articles, experi

Aside from the amazing social aspect (I just love to have something like a shared mobile base with my friends), all your crew can do in terms of gameplay is manning your turrets.
And even then, multi-crew gameplay is limited to:
Of course, this is far from the final state, and I am curious: what kind of mechanics are you hoping for to make SC multi-crew gameplay exciting, challenging, and rewarding?
Personally, I feel that multi-crew gameplay should:
A great example of a game that does this well is Sea of Thieves. This game is focused on multi-crew gameplay. I'll not discuss the whole game but only focus on the galleon, the largest ship available (there are three sizes, small for 1-2 players, medium for 2-3, large for 3-4).
Only to sail the ship efficiently, you already need multiple players. The ship has three sails and a steering wheel. The wheel turns rather slowly and the ship has large inertia, so making course corrections takes time. For optimal speed and turning rate, the sails must also be turned to the wind, which also takes time. As a result, the person manning the steering wheel needs to be supported by other players to manage the sails. Additionally, visibility on the steering wheel is bad, so you need to communicate with your crew to make sure to not crash into any rocks, etc. You can sail on your own even in a galleon, but once you get into a storm or into combat, you'll be rather helpless without a crew.
At the same time, your crew needs to man the cannons. The player inventory for cannonballs is small, so even players at "gun duty" are far from static and need to move around the ship a lot to fetch new cannonballs

Chapter 140: Burns Galore
βHah! There we go. Target coming around,β Glira let out enthusiastically, Tom perring up to confirm the black was indeed banking into a turn and coming back at them.
They had only been flying for a while, the keep having slipped out of sight behind them though they were still in the rolling hills.
βDoesnβt look like sheβs surrendering. You want her done quick and painless or slow and agonizing?β Glira roared out, Tom swearing he could feel her writhe with anticipation.
βJust try and take her alive!β Tom replied, still trying to come to terms with how nonchalant Glira was being as he shouted over the screaming wind. They were heading straight on, and he very much doubted she was acid proof.
βVery well, hang on tight, loop your arms through the harness, and enjoy the show. Also, I will be taking suggestions only. You are not in command today.β
βNoted!β Tom replied, cursing to himself a bit as he felt her shuffle her shoulders. βYou are never getting as much as a damn air rifle you psychopath.β He did as he was told though as Glira pulled up, beating her wings with renewed effort and climbing fast and steep. Tom couldnβt help but look out to the side to gawk at the massive wings driving them upwards. It was pretty incredible to

Matt Prater even tried to keep it close for them with two missed field goals and a missed extra point. The bye week approaches, and with it, four and a half weeks of rest for Kyler Murray and Deandre Hopkins and a 2-1 record in that time.
2. | Buccaneers | +4 | 7-3 | There are few things more majestic than watching a 310 pound 0-tech drop back into coverage and draw an interception, but the Buccaneers' Steve McLendon did just that against the Giants in a 30-10 blowout win. With 300+ yards passing, 3 takeaways, and 2 sacks, the Buccaneers looked explosive on both sides of the ball and got a much needed spark they had been missing for weeks. Next up, the red-hot Indianapolis Colts, who this power ranker predicts will pull a major upset over the Bucs.
3. | Packers | -1 | 8-3 | Road Divisional games are always tough. Vikings losses always seem to correlate with how much pain it would bring to their fans rather than how good their opponent is, and this seems like the perfect time to reel those Minnesotans in with a false sense of hope that they could maybe accomplish someting this year, so I'm not totally suprised they won this game. We lost another body with Elgton's torn ACL, but we were the most injured team in 2010 too so at least we have that going for us

Ever since Syalia was a little girl, she had never been allowed to venture west of the farmhouse. There was a shallow valley there, with the stream they used for water trickling through it and past the farmhouse. But her father had fenced in a large section of the shallow slope on the far side of the valley, right where the most fertile grazing would be, and he never allowed the cattle inside.
Syalia couldnβt figure it out, because the grass within the fence grew lush and thick, and she just knew the cattle would become fat on it and fetch good prices at market. But her parents simply told her that she was to stay away from the stream. If she went to the stream, she was not to cross it. If she crossed it, she was not to go near the fenced field. And if she went near the field, she was never ever to climb through the fence.
As she was a good little girl (mostly) she never crossed the stream, though she waded in it from time to time, catching frogs and totally failing to catch the little silver fish that flickered around her legs and feet. And while she looked across the stream to the slope and the fenced field, and wondered about it, she never went there. It made no sense to her. But her father had laid down the law, and she did as she was told.
And so she grew and learned how to run the farm, and even to take a few cows into market by herself from time to time. But never did her father allow the cattle to graze that field. Once in a long while, the fence needed repairing, and even that task was performed from outside the field.
When she turned sixteen, she went to her father. βI have a question.β
He turned to face her, from where he was carving a new handle for the farmhouse door. The old one was beginning to fall apart. βIs it about boys, and where babies come from?β
She felt her cheeks heat and shook her head quickly. βMama told me about that last year.β
He nodded slowly and carved away another sliver of dark wood. βIs it about your letters and numbers?β
Again, she shook her head. Some small part of her wondered if he were deliberately baiting her. βNo, I have learned my letters and know how to read most words. I know how to add numbers and subtract them. Mama is teaching me how to make them multiply and divide. It is not easy, but that is not the question I wished to ask you.β
βGood,β he grunted. βI could never learn those things. Adding and subtracting were always enough for me.β
She waited, while he carved at the wood, until she finally re

One of the things that I think is constantly forgotten during the invasion of the Golden Company/Young Griff is just how big and strong of a fighting force they are, especially compared to other free companies.
>The Golden Company was reputedly the finest of the free companies, founded a century ago by Bittersteel, a bastard son of Aegon the Unworthy. When another of Aegon's Great Bastards tried to seize the Iron Throne from his trueborn half-brother, Bittersteel joined the revolt. Daemon Blackfyre had perished on the Redgrass Field, however, and his rebellion with him. Those followers of the Black Dragon who survived the battle yet refused to bend the knee fled across the narrow sea, among them Daemon's younger sons, Bittersteel, and hundreds of landless lords and knights who soon found themselves forced to sell their swords to eat. Some joined the Ragged Standard, some the Second Sons or Maiden's Men. Bittersteel saw the strength of House Blackfyre scattering to the four winds, so he formed the Golden Company to bind the exiles together.
>
>From that day to this, the men of the Golden Company had lived and died in the Disputed Lands, fighting for Myr or Lys or Tyrosh in their pointless little wars, and dreaming of the land their fathers had lost. It really does, I swear!
Major spoilers for Battle Ground ahead. You have been warned.
I have 2 somewhat related theories as to why the White Council >!Kicked Harry out of the White Council!< at the end of Battle Ground.
The Grey Council (GC) needed an operative that is familiar with how the White Council (WC) operates via its politics, bureaucracy, and rules. Said operative would need to be familiar with these things so as to be able to accomplish some goal or net good outside of WC means without violating any Laws of Magic. So, in this theory Ebenezer actually supports the WC outster of Harry because it allows the GC to place Harry where he's most needed without raising suspicion.
The Senior Council (SC) is grooming Harry for a leadership position. This theory hinges on the idea that a member of the SC (likely Ebenezer or the Merlin) has had a precognitive vision in which a member of the SC is likely to die soon. Most likely candidates to die would be The Merlin or Ebenezer. The Merlin's death creates a power vacuum in which I suspect that Listens to Wind or Ebenezer become the new Merlin. If Ebenezer rises in this way, I imagine that he will relinquish the office of the Blackstaff so as to remain impartial and avoid conflicts of interest. Conversely, Ebenezer's death also leaves open a slot on the SC and the office of the Blackstaff.
The WC has kicked Harry off of the Council so as to give him a test. Can he hold true to the Laws of Magic while isolated and without the support of the full WC, especially while operating in the Winter Court and interacting with Lara and the White Court. It's a test of his resolve and ability to choose the correct and moral path when he's at his lowest point. If he can succeed, then he's likely worthy of a spot on the SC and/or the office of the Blackstaff. If not, well, at least the WC gets to get rid of a dangerous foe for violating the Laws of Magic.
Supporting evidence for this theory:
Canonically, Wizards get better and better at seeing the future as they age. The SC are all pretty old.
The Fomor servitors don't really count as human anymore, that's been said more then once. So, that's a pretty weak justification to kick him off the Council, especially considering that they were all fighting for survival.
In Turn Coat, Harry narrates about how many members of the WC use magic to do squicky things morally that don't actually break the Laws of Magic (manipulating the stock market, etc etc.). Seems pretty bu
For the past 2 years Iβve been absolutely petrified of bats and rabies and when ever I find anything that could remotely resemble a βbat biteβ I start a clock and spend the next 3 months living in fear and waiting to die a miserable death from rabies. This time it was that I woke up from a dream where I was being bitten by a stray cat and shrugged it off as a random dream. Later in the day I found out the attic access in our condo closet had fallen open at some point over the past few days (probably from some hurricane force winds we had shaking and pulling on the building and jolting it loose). Still my mind writes a story by connecting the dots and itβs goes a little something like this. At some point the attic access was upended some how before a rabid bat made its way in the condo and bit my hand in my sleep where the sensation made my head choreograph it into the dream as a cat biting me before the bat flew away back into the attic. Far fetched I know but now Iβm once again stuck in this compulsive prison and scared to even move, I feel paralyzed. I canβt do this anymore (Iβm in no way even remotely suicidal, Iβm literally terrified of death), but seriously I canβt do this shit anymore I want to scream. This is robbing me of my happiness. I want to cry right now but, I literally canβt muster the tears since my body is stuck in fight or flight.
Iβve been at the police station for the last eight hours. They canβt do anything; they canβt help me. Maybe it was just wishful thinking that they could help me. Most normal cases donβt seem to ever get solved, and mine. I donβt know where my son is. I wish I never bought that painting.
I just wanted the best for my son. I guess every dad wants the same, but I wasnβt brought up with a silver spoon. I donβt earn that much money and the money I have spare goes straight to my son's education. Recently, a buddy of mine came for dinner and told me about a side-hustle that had helped him save a whole yearβs worth of tuition fees in two months. He was flipping paintings. Baroque ones to be exact; those dull paintings from the 18th century where everyone looks chubby, and the colours are dark and bland. Theyβre back in fashion he said and gave me the address of a local auction house which seemed to have an unlimited supply.
I studied up for a couple of weeks, learned about my Rembrandts, Caravaggioβs, Riberaβs and the next thing I know, Iβm sitting in a cold auction room in a sleepy town near my home. A decrepid space with sixty seats and seven people spread among them.
***
βDo you mind if I squeeze past?β asks an elderly gentleman.
βSure,β I reply, turning my legs to let him past. There are so many empty seats. I have no idea why he is trying to inconvenience me. Maybe thatβs part of the fun, distract the other bidders from the choice paintings. And the next one is choice indeed. I couldnβt believe it when I saw it in the auction pamphlet last week. A beautiful country manor, surrounded by verdant grounds. Bay windows run across the ground floor of the building and roses are climbing the adjacent trellises. The sky is divine (he tells me to talk like that. To fit in). Itβs bright, warm, and inviting. The shadow of the oak tree claws along the green grass at the front of the house
I know what it is. At least I think I do. Thereβs only one baroque painter that paints like that. Itβs Alssariq. The last painting of his that sold at Christies went for a million! And there is no reserve on this one.
The sleepy auctioneer bangs his gavel against the oak table. βLot twenty-five is of Hurlingham Manor in Suffolk. Itβs of unknown provenance.β
Thatβs what you think buddy boy!
He continues, βLetβs start the bidding at five hundred pounds.β
I look around at my competition. The old lady at the front has fallen asleep. The gentleman to my right is squinting at th

As the year slowly winds down, weβre once again gathering our newest works to show off.
This newsletter will focus on Daedra and their cults. In the last two months, many associated assets were created by our artists in different departments. Daedra have always featured heavily in Elder Scrolls, but are center stage in Oblivion. Other than the pivotal Daedric invasion by Mehrunes Dagon, we have other Daedra who have their footholds in the mortal realm.

This is a "best of" thread I am making mainly for all the many new fans that have joined, as a thank you for being part of this great community, and for another reason that I will probably be announcing soon.
I apologize for those who always keep up with my threads, as there is nothing new here. As mentioned it's a selection of the most interesting ones from my old threads. But if you never read any of them, then I hope you have fun reading them, although considering the size of this one, I understand if you can't spend that much time.
This list will start with the simple ones, and will escalate as you go down the list.
I made sure to take out all spoilers out and spoil tag the rest, but still please be careful when reading about a game you haven't played, and you don't want anything in it spoiled.
Nothing here is mind blowing or things no one knows, in fact if you played these games, you probably already know about most of them. But if you didn't, then hey, you just learned a new fun fact.
I am aware that some of these were done by many and even in record times. this isn't the point of this thread, they are just funny and weird tidbits and facts.
I think choosing an Idea Factory game would be cheating, since they can really fill this entire list alone, So for the sake of variety, I will only mention one part, of one game, and that is from the Agarest: Generation of War.
Now this game is filled with ridiculous stuff, but letβs focus on one part, and that is Capturing and getting a Monster as a party member. Because in this game, even though you already get a very large cast to join your party, that probably more than half will go unused. They also added the feature of the player being able to catch any monster in battle and add them as a playable party member. βGreatβ you might say, βwhat is so bad about that ?β, well in order to catch a monster you first need to teach the Capture Skill to someone, so they can cast it on a monster. So how do you get this skill ? easy, all you have to do is:

βThanks.β Dallion forced a smile.
Winning in such fashion didnβt feel satisfying at all, not to mention his thoughts were still lingering on the state of the guardian he had wounded. Getting a noble upset, even if it wasnβt through any real fault of his own, was understandable. Having hurt a guardian in the process made his heart ache. It was as if the vine wrapped around it had tightened and grown thorns.
Eat those, Nil said. Youβll need all the strength you can get.
Potentially, leave the ingot for later, the armadil shield added in an attempt to lighten the mood. Itβs never good to munch on iron before bed.
The joke was silly to the extreme, and yet it managed to get a mental chuckle from Dallion. Rather than the humor itself, it was the dryadβs intonation that had pulled it off. Dallion envied how calm and carefree the guardian remained, even after everything he had been through. If Dallion was subjected to the same experience, thereβs no telling what he would have turned into.
Sea iron was said to be the least valuable of the seven special metals, which ironically led to it almost never being used for weapons and armor. The people who could afford it, always had a tendency to prefer more durable materials such as sun gold, sky steel, or sky silver. Sea iron was rather used as a construction material sometimes for buildings, but more often for device components. It was a chilling coincidence that Dallion had a βpocket watchβ mostly of the same metal among his belongings.
Equipped with his rewards of the day, Dallion left the arena and headed straight for the Icepicker guildhall. No one recognized him as he walked along the streetsβmost of the crowds familiar with him would remain at the arena, w
