A list of puns related to "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (American game show)"
Read each of the 5 trivia questions and see if you know the answer first without revealing the spoilers. Then whether you know it or not, use your intuition/psychic energy to guess where the correct answer is located in the 4 options (millionaire style, lol). Then click on just one option to see if you are right. Note: the answers are at the end of the post to verify.
You can reply to this post as follows:
-If you knew the answer type K, if you didnβt know it type D.
-If you revealed it correctly type Y and if you didnβt, type N.
For example, if you knew Q1 but didnt reveal the answer in the right spot you would write: Q1: K, N
The reason for this is I want to see if there is a correlation when people actually know the right answer are they more likely to reveal it correctly out of the options.
Note: the blackout/spoilers may not work if you are on mobile.

P.S.
If you thought the blonde seems to be a bit stupid here are the correct answers:
The 100-year war lasted for 116 years - from 1137 to 1253.
The Panama Cabin was found in Equador
The October Revolution ended on November 7th
King Georg VI's real name was Albert. The king changed his name in 1936.
The Canary Islands are named after the seal. In Latin it means the islands.
Now the question is how much wiser than the blonde you are, really ...? !!!
Whenever they use the phone a friend option, why can't the friend just look up the answer quickly on google? They have 30 seconds. That's plenty of time to do it. Is there a security person from the show watching them to make sure they don't? I assume the friend who is phoned is planned in advance (because they always answer) so I assume they've got some measure in place to prevent googling?
Is Who Wants to be a Millionaire just a game of luck? I mean, there's 33.34% chance of being right unless the person happen to know the answer, and lifelines can only get you so far into the game.
Let's say there are 15 questions with 4 choices each. Let's also say there are 3 lifelines: call-a-friend, 50-50, and ask-the-audience.
For each of the 15 questions, there is only 1 correct answer, and 3 incorrect answers, so immediately your chances are 1/3 = 33.34%. You can use each lifeline once. Using phone-a-friend, let's say gives you a 95% chance the person you call is correct. So 1 question is 95%. Similarly, we can say ask-the-audience gives you a 95% chance. Finally, 50-50 will remove 2 wrong answers, so you have 1 right answer and 1 wrong answer, so you basically know the answer. To recap:
Question 1: 33.34% Question 2: 33.34% Question 3: 33.34% Question 4: 95% <--- ask-the-audience Question 5: 33.34% Question 6: 33.34% Question 7: 33.34% Question 8: 33.34% Question 9: 95% <--- phone-a-friend Question 10: 33.34% Question 11: 33.34% Question 12: 33.34% Question 13: 33.34% Question 14: 33.34% Question 15: 100% <--- 50-50 Total: 690.08%
Divided by 15 questions = 46.00%
So basically, it's more a less a game of chance, but more than half the people on the show will lose, so it's not very fair. That show is making tons of money off of people
Jumped out of my chair when I saw this! Options:
A) Baqa Jilani
B) Commandur Rangachari
C) Gogumal Kishenchand (Answer)
D) Kanwar Rai Singh
How the hell is someone supposed to even know this!
The dude was smart enough to quit the game and exited with INR 10 Million (1 Crore) instead.
The scoreboard from the ground of that match. (Internet is kind!)
Lifeline #1: Ask the audience. I'm not sure how this one would work, but do a live poll (maybe on bravo's instagram or twitter) to see whose side the audience was on during the season (examples: Bethenny vs. Carole, LVP vs. the rest-- almost like the polls on WWHL but, you know, not as rigged).
Lifeline #2: Phone a friend. Call an assistant, ex, friend-of, etc. to get their side of the story.
Lifeline #3: 50/50. If a text exchange is in dispute ("he said, she said"), then do a side-by-side comparison of the text exchange on both phones so that the audience can judge for themselves who is telling the truth.
