Travel to New York City to hunt down Aaron Keener. To find him you will need to investigate his Lieutenants activities, find clues and gain the trust of the Peacekeepers, local militia defending the public.

- 4 new Open World named zones under fog-of-war, with no level-gating, giving you the freedom to tackle the investigation in any way you want.

- Haven is a new Settlement led by Paul Rhodes. The inhabitants consist of survivors from Lower Manhattan, former JTF soldiers, and former police officers, with the latter two forming the Peacekeeper
I've been talking to a buddy about it and besides Legion, no other expansion offers so much quality of life. It isn't a popular expansion, but that was never due to the quests and zones, but rather cut content.
Pros:
Each zone gives you an ability to enhance your leveling potency.

Shadowmoon Valley / Frostfire Ridge: Garrison troops.

Gorgrond: Pilot a Shredder or have an Arena fighter come fight.

Talador: Guardian Orb for AoE damage or Artillery Strike for AoE erasing.

Spires of Arak: Smuggling Run for consumable buffs or Brewery for 20% bonus xp.

Nagrand: Pilot a tank or have permanent mounted speed.
Having a Barracks lets you bring a Bodyguard along everywhere you go.
Each zone has two bonus objectives that give huge chunks of experience. If kept to a proportional amount, these single objectives might be an entire level of xp.
Treasures chests that give xp for picking them up.
There's like 10 socialist/communist warlords, which one is the best/legitimate successor to the USSR/most fun?

Assassin's Creed Odyssey: The Fate of Atlantis DLC | Launch Trailer
The first episode of the second post-launch DLC for Odyssey launches tomorrow. As usual this megathread can be used to share your first impressions, expectations, theories and discuss everything about "Fields of Elysium".
SPOILERS ARE ALLOWED IN THIS MEGATHREAD, but outside of it you will still need to mark them properly or risk getting banned.
We hope you enjoy this latest DLC episode of Assassin's Creed Odyssey.
After watching the movies again, I felt like playing the Fate of Atlantis for the first time. Here are some thoughts:
+ I enjoyed the setting and mood. It felt like an Indiana Jones movie: the voices, music and graphics make it work.
+ The voice acting is good. I liked the Harrison Ford imitator.
+ Sophia is a nice sidekick, much better than the one in temple of Doom
+ The graphics and music still are OK
+ It's not too long
+ Multiple ways too finish it
- The puzzles...
- Some of them require pixel hunting
- Some of them require backtracking, even multiple times. Or you can forget picking up an item again.
- Some of them I had trouble with even with a guide
- Some of them I'd never have thought of without a guide
So I enjoyed the game but I played with a guide next to me. It's a fun adventure but it won't be one of my favorite games like Monkey Island, Full Throttle or Grim Fandango. While I played Grim Fandango/Full Throttle mostly without a guide, I can only imagine the patience people must have had in a pre-internet period to play through this one.
EDIT UPDATE: LOG INTO GAME BEFORE MARCH 3rd 2020 AND RECEIVE BOTH FAILED TWITCH DROPS THE CIRCUIT WEAPON SKIN AND TACTICAL INTEGRAL HELMET.
They have realized this was a major issue and their solution is to award the the previous twitch drops to everyone who logs into game before March 3rd 2020. As per Hamish's Discussion on the issue during Feb 19 State of the Game.

Could it be Stheno and Euryale to coincide with their animation updates? I know everyone was speculating they would be new characters, but the leaker for basically everything else that got announced last night says there's only 3 new servants (2SSR, 1SR) and so unless they're bombarding us with NPCs again it seems likely that they'd be servants we've already encountered.
Aita! Juno! Consus! The shroud, the power sources used in the temple in AC3, names of cities and regions (Feyan, the Sister Isles etc), Adam and Eve, the creation of the Apples, the source of the mythical creatures, the creation of the spear (Adamant), predictions of the Toba Catastrophe and more.
One thing the lore has been devoid of since Origins has been any real references and commitment to the lore told through the rest of the franchise, but this DLC episode alone properly ties Odyssey back into the lore of AC and fulfils one of the promises set by the developers (which was to use their setting to explore the Isu in more depth).
I am incredibly impressed with how well they put the lore back into a game that until this point felt like it was somewhat ignoring the rest of the franchise. Odyssey itself wasn't really a game designed first and foremost for us story-focused AC fans, but this DLC sure as hell was. Barring some questionable writing decisions for the Modern Day sections, this DLC was absolutely worth it for a lore fan like me.
If you haven't played this DLC yet and you are interested in AC lore, episode 3 alone makes it all worthwhile.
