Someone mentioned to me that the Wadih El Safi song "3andak bahiriyya ya rais," which they translated for me as "Your Navy, Oh President" (does that sound correct?) is a political critique song, but I haven't been able to reach them again to hear more. Is that accurate, and if so, what is El Safi critiquing?
