I am not sure if this is common knowledge but I thought I would share it on this sub anyway.
The web versions of most social media applications (especially Instagram and Facebook) suck. They usually aren't as easy to use as the app versions and have less features. I've been noticing a huge uptick in my Instagram consumption lately, and I realised it was not really adding anything to my life. I tried to cut it down but found it to be pretty difficult. So, I uninstalled the application from my phone and started using the web version for times when I really just want to check my DMs or whatever. And it seems to be working pretty well. I use the app for 2 minutes, get bored or annoyed and close it.

So I have Firefox installed on Ubuntu 21.04 and usually I expect around an hour and a half of browsing with 100% battery.

Long story short- I have an iPhone which is managed by a strict IT policy. Is there a way to get Airmessage to work on an iPhone through safari or chrome ON the iPhone?

I've deleted social media apps. However, I still find it hard to control my usage of social media sites through the phone web browser. I don't want to always block the web browser as I use it for many helpful things. But i'd like to be able to limit specific sites.
On my computer I can get browser add-ons that put time limits on specific sites, turn specific sites gray scale, limit tabs, remove the Facebook news feed. It's great. Unfortunately none of these tools are available on Android.
Does anyone have solutions?

I've tried two Android 7.0 devices and one Android 8.0 device. I've tried on WiFi and mobile data. I've tried Vivaldi, Chrome, Firefox, Brave, and Opera. On every single one of these devices and configurations, sharing a web page in the browser to OneNote does NOT work. It just says "working on it" with an animated loading bar. I've ensured the app has full permissions, will not be closed during lock screen cleanup, and can draw over other apps. I've cleared the app cache and data. I've manually logged out and logged back in. I find this absolutely ridiculous and inexcusable, and it'd be preposterous to suggest this is some sort of ID10T error on my part.
I'm enjoying my first Chromebook which is a Acer CB 14. It's not a bad deal for $269. I can remote desktop if I needed to program or edit photos. It's crazy that one can get a $500 1440p gaming machine next month thanks to Polaris GPUs.
I can't wait for Android Apps to become available.
I have 1TB of Onedrive storage so 32GB SSD won't be much of a problem.
Hi, I've had my exynos S21 Ultra for around a week, and have noticed heavy background usage in my web browser. I've used both Brave and Samsung Internet, tried uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing cache/data, but still am experiencing the same issues. The issue was worse with Brave (almost constant background usage), but it still is an issue with samsung internet.
I've also put the apps on deep sleep mode, which shouldn't allow any background usage, yet I'm still consistently getting 5h of background usage by the browser by the end of the day.
It doesn't sound like much, but >1% background drain per hour, especially when the app hasn't been opened or used at all, seems to be abnormal. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Sidenote: google play services is my top battery user, running constantly in the background at around 0.75% per hour.
