Hi all! I've been searching forums trying to figure out if anyone else has had the same issue and if what I have going on is normal. I broke my radius and ulna on April 3rd and on April 4th I had surgery. I was released from the hospital April 5th and yesterday they took my cast off and sent me home. It's healing fine and the x-rays look good, But my wrist hurts really really badly. Is this normal? It was only in the cast for 11 days so I wouldn't think that would destroy my range of motion, but maybe so? I can move my wrist up and down a very little bit and cannot turn it side to side at all. The doctor told me to get silly putty and start moving my wrist around, but I don't see how that's possible. Has anyone ever experienced anything similar?
