Every time I watch Homecoming I wonder why they cast award-winning actress Tyne Daly and then completely wasted her in her tiny role as the head of Damage Control.
Apart from the opening scene, she shows up only once more - in the background with no lines - when Ned and Peter see her from across the street outside the destroyed ATM.
I have to assume she had a more substantial role in the shooting script - does anyone have any intel on this?
I quit the show. I have loved it and watched it from season one but lately just couldn’t watch it go down in flames but I saw a clip on YouTube between Amelia and her mother (Tyne Daly) that brought all the feels of the earlier seasons and now I’m coming back and getting caught up. Such powerful performances
Just think it, the project may be in stand by right now, but the cast of Tyne Daly maybe means something, she's a well-known comedy TV actress! Doesn't it make you think that they are continuing in secret?
