A list of puns related to "Timeline of Philippine history"
Does anyone know if someone has compiled a timeline of all the events that happen in the books between the day before Winternight and the end of the series? Iβm just now getting back into the series after having dropped it when Crossroads of Twilight pissed me off 18 years ago, but I remember having trouble getting a sense of how much time passes during it. Iβve tried searching for timelines, but I only seem to find big picture ones with stuff like the Age of Legends and the Trolloc Wars.

Really disappointed with the news of what is happening with Kai. It does sound like there really is something with the handlers or the politics behind the scenes.
I know he wasn't a realistic draft pick - more likely a 2+ year development prospect (and just something like a top 90 prospect), but the recent events will probably force him to develop abroad instead.
Here's to hoping he doesn't end up stuck in the PBA.
I'm in search of infographics that show history of various theories (everything from psychoanalysis to ACT to feminist theory, etc) and how they have stemmed from one another. Timelines, trees, etc. Please share!
This is the timeline in question
I am specifically interested in the US killing 70 million Native Americans.
I cannot find any confirmation of that 70 million number.
I am also interested in the US enslaving and bringing 35 million Africans.
But, this says "And how many of these 10.7 million Africans were shipped directly to North America?Β Only about 388,000.Β Thatβs right: a tiny percentage."
Even others such as the US Invasion of Grenada killing 300k ppl or Gulf War killing 1 million Iraqis cannot be confirmed...
This is the continuation of chess history series, where I write the truth about the origins of our beloved game. The first post is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/AnarchyChess/comments/ni20vq/the_real_history_of_chess_timeline_1/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share
1985-1996 - game's success, the rise of machines.
The initial success of Chess by Garry Chess was huge - it quickly became the best selling game of all time. During the next several years, Garry Chess and Anatoly Karpov held their promotion matches. The rapid and blitz mode was added as well. In 1987, Anna Chess, the daughter of Garry Chess, was born. It was around that time Garry opened the game for female players. In 1995, Gotham Chees, the son of Garry Chess, was born. From 1990 to 1996, Garry began working on his secret project. It would later turn out to be fatal for the game of Chess.
1997-2000 - the biggest cheating scandal, chess becomes free to play.
In 1997 the biggest cheating scandal in the history of chess occured. An American Grandmaster Dewa Blue brought a PC to the board and won a match against Garry Chess. Sadly, no one except Garry noticed this, and nobody believed him. In the year 1999 Garry Chess has achieved the highest rating possible - 2851. Just months after, fruatrated and tired of the cheating scandal, Garry announced that Chess is now free to play. This has led to many more people discovering the game. Unsurprisingly, the new talented player named Vladimir Kramnik used the opportunity to try Chess for free and dethroned Garry.
2000-2010 - retirement. Chess is ported to PC.
In 2005 Garry retires and begins working on expanding Chess. Remember I mentioned Lee Chess? He hated checkers, and when Garry created Chess, supported him all the way through. It was only a matter of time before Chess was available on PC and mobile, and in 2010, the first ever PC version of chess became available at lichess.org. In some ways it was even better than Chess Classic, because The Bongcloud was added to the database.
To be continued...
This is a pretty famous story so I suppose most of you know about this, but I feel like writing about it and... Why not share it with everyone? So here is a little analysis of the trade that could've changed the history of the NBA and, more importantly, the trade that could've eradicated the vision we have of an icon such as Kobe Bryant, potentially. Seems like I'm exaggerating it, right? Well... Maybe I am, but it would've been a big, huge, MASSIVE deal. The options are countless so I'd rather not get lost in the sliding doors: this is not a "what if..." post, it's about what actually was about to happen, the reports of that year, and the landscape of the potential trade.
Kobe's overall career with the Lakers is indeed widely positive, but in the parenthesis between 2004 and 2007, substantially, it wasn't all so great. In the 2004/05 season, they didn't even make the playoffs; they did manage to get there for the two subsequent years, but they did not make it past the second round, although how astoundingly well Kobe Bryant was playing: the supporting cast just wasn't up there. And... Kobe was motivated to call it quits.
Kobe himself, at the end of May of 2007, said in an interview for 1050 ESPN Radio:
>"I would like to be traded, yeah. Tough as it is to come to that conclusion there's no other alternative, you know?"
When Stephen A. Smith asked him if there was anything the Lakers could do to make him want to stay, he replied negating bluntly. Quoting the ESPN report of the interview:
>"[The Lakers] obviously want to move in a different direction in terms of rebuilding," Bryant said, adding he could have opted to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers or Chicago Bulls instead. "Three years ago when I was re-signing they should have told me they wanted to rebuild."
And also:
>"I'm so tired of talking," Bryant said. "It's tough. I always dreamed about retiring as a Laker. I just hope and hope that something can be resolved. Something can be figured out. Just something so I can stay here and be in this city and be with the team I love."
And again:
>Asked if he had any preference for a trade destination, he said "At this point I'll go play on Pluto."
Apparently, said trade request only had one way to be rescinded: the responsible for the rumor that blamed Kobe for being the main reason Shaq left had to be fired by the Lakers immediately.

... keep reading on reddit β‘I think a more digestible timeline of the bathsh*t CRAZY stuff that been going down would be amazing for those who have not been able to follow the twists and turns from new subs, drama, shills and so on.
I've personally been following since just after GME made a small hop on its way to the moon but for those who have missed so much or may only just be joining us a visual guide would be amazing to demonstrate the SCALE of this f*ckery!
If anyone who is more informed than I would be willing to give it a go then I think a lot of people maybe even outside the sub would benefit.
My thinking is if there's an impending financial crisis (it appears all the warnings are showing up) then maybe it will be a chance for them to navigate the maze of incredibly useful and well thought out information available all across this platform.
Stay safe out there.
I'll post what I have found thus far after work today.
I'm going on a radio show soon to talk labor history and I want to have some good resources for myself and the people!
I created this (mostly using emails from Simple) as a historical reference for the release of features, important milestones, and APY changes. I think itβs a useful context for those now seeking a Simple alternative, particularly those of us who have transitioned to One and are looking for/expecting/waiting for certain features.
There are 54* total moments recorded.
(*51 plus 3 earlier milestones added for historical context before I joined)
