Full transcripts of Parks and Rec, labeled by Character. Some of you may find it useful, as I'm not sure of any labeled transcripts for the show that exist currently (and I looked pretty hard). I know a lot of you probably like to play around with NLP and the sort for a lot of popular TV shows, so hopefully I can contribute a bit to the body of labeled television transcripts. :)

For the record, I do like the office and have watched it all the way through several times. I find Parks and Rec has more humor, better story lines and better characters/actors.

I just finished the book for the first time today. A few hours after, I noticed some familiar names while watching an episode of Parks and Recreation. Turns out the creator, Michael Schur, is a huge fan of IJ and made numerous other references in this episode! It’s been an exciting day!

Parks and recreation is better than the office. Don't just downvote me, give me your opinion.
First off, I've been advised to skip seasons of the office to watch it. Seasons. Second off the humor is cringy, and it's just awkward all the time. Parks are recreation delivers a better punchline, a better story, and overall it hits home every single episode. It has its faults, but overall I will always take Ron Swanson's side. I can never get into the office because I just don't understand why it's jokes are considered funny, they come off as just cringy awkward jokes that don't sell the show. First few episodes, Hitler joke, why? There is never a reason behind any of the humor either. It's just happening, and parks and rec is just better at punchlines, it just makes a much better show overall, and it's characters are loveable, I gave the office a chance, it has not been good to me. Maybe you can convince me.
Thoughts on the Parks, Recreation, Trails and Open Space Levy and Levy Renewal for The Seattle Public Library?
These two levies plan to renew and increase investments for parks and libraries by increasing property taxes.
Washington State has the most regressive taxes in the country, and I am worried additional property taxes could exacerbate this issue, especially with our housing and homelessness crisis.
At the same time, I love our parks and libraries, and want to maintain the accessibility and quality of these public spaces. Plus, updates for earthquake and flood prevention will become increasingly important.
What are your thoughts? How will you be voting on this election's ballot? With the state limit to only a 1% annual increase in property taxes, is my concern an overreaction?

TIL of a major league ball park in my neighborhood called Recreation Park. It was home of the Columbus Senators/Buckeyes in the 1880s. It is now a Giant Eagle grocery store.
