A list of puns related to "The Rendezvous Society"
#THE LABYRINTH ENTRANCE HAS CLOSED FOR THE WEEK
The day was quiet and usual ad the campers made their way to the dining pavilion from breakfast as they always do, though this time it seemed that something was off, campers would notice that just near the pavillion in a clearing was a mausoleum type structure and it appeared to have Egyptian designs upon it with Chiron standing close by
"Good morning campers, it seems you all like me, have noticed this strange happening, and I'm here to inform all of you of its origin."
he paused a moment to put on his reading glasses and pull out a clip board and began reading
**The labyrinth has again given us a challenge, though not quite as dangerous as the last. This entrance has been linked to Egypt, and because of so we have been investigating all week while covering it with the mist.
Inside after some maze running, we have discovered that it leads to an arch guarded by a Sphinx, which gives a riddle, to pass you must solve the riddle, if you fail to do so in three guesses the Shpinx or the Labyrinth spits you back out and will not permit you back inside.**
"As you hear, the challenge is quite hasty this time, and I wish those of you who are brave enough to enter the best of luck."
The main string of characters was converted to the farm symbol, indicating the farm as a rendezvous point.
Transponder can be discarded unlike other quest items (Awoken Talisman, Mysterious Box). It cannot be picked up again
These 2 reasonings lead me to believe that the transponder is useless once you've got all 6 lost sector scannables. I think every post connecting this dot to that dot is just grasping at stuff that really doesn't have any meaningful correlation.

This book explains how NASA does rendezvous and docking in real-life, and why they do it that way. It guides you through Gemini, Apollo, Skylab, Apollo-Soyuz Test Project, and then Shuttle. It illustrates the rendezvous plans with orbital diagrams and V-bar R-bar diagrams.
If you ever wanted to know how rendezvous and docking is done in real-life, this book is the best source I've yet found.
How is possible for a serie to be always that good
This is why i love them the most versatile band of all time.

So I finally watched The Martian on Netflix.
Something I wouldn't have thought of had I not been a KSP player...
From the orbital mech intuitions I have gained from KSP, I believe the 2 rdvz maneuvers shown wouldn't result in significant propellant savings, right?
For the supply pick up mnv, if the supply container could match V with the Hermes earth fly-by, it would mean that the supply container would have achieved earth escape on its own steam.
Similarly for the MAV would have achieved Mars escape too, in order to match V with the Hermes fly-by.
I don't know how much it is known (probably well, since most players here are experienced), but I just found out that if you destroy the surface in the rendezvous zone (like if it's on a building or smth), then it will be relocated somewhere else. Pretty common sense, but I never put any thought into it. However, it can be a huge advantage (especially if you don't mind save scumming) if the rendezvous zone is surrounded by enemies and you're on a time limit.
I'm Pretty new by my standards i have 87 hours so i know everything but Rendezvousing and Docking i have watched tutorial, i did the senario, everything but i just cant do it if anyone can make a step by step guide please do.
I watched a video on it and the process was: select target, open the Ascent Guidance tab, click launch to rendezvous then engage autopilot. In the video, a maneuver was executed to put the rocket into orbit (which I assume was automatic because autopilot was on), but said burn doesn't occur for me, I had to do it manually. The last step was to close the first tab and open rendezvous autopilot, then engage autopilot. Once again, my center struggled to reach the maneuver point and fuel want burnt when scheduled.
I can get to orbit manually with my rocket, so I don't thing design or fuel is my problem. Can I get a hand here? Thanks.
I'm rewatching again and I'm in season 5 and it just hit me that Dwight is always lugging around that CD player when him and Angela are hooking up in the warehouse. What are your best guesses as to what they listen to? A CD? FM radio? What type of music? Dwight loves 80s metal and Angela loves The Little Drummer Boy? What's their baby making music??
Been trying to construct one but cannot make a winner with all the attributes that can catch up, fuel to slow/accelerate, RCS to get close, etc.
Any help is appreciated!
Our team is worried about them since they are 1 inch tall. We're not sure if we should pneumatic wheels or the regular HiGrip ones
In my latest career I took a bunch of contracts to make observations at various spots on the Mun, and have put a couple stations at different inclinations that can send landers down to complete the various mission objectives for all those contracts.
Because most of the waypoints aren't near the equator, all of the stations are on relatively high inclinations between 10km and 15km. The inclinations make launching back to rendezvous tricky, especially near the poles. I'm sure I'm not the first one to come up with this, but I've been able to reliably reconnect with stations within my first orbit using this method.
Wait until landing site is under the orbit of a station, switch to station, take lander for a spin and land.
Do your science, plant your flags, you have about 20 minutes until the station is overhead again.
Load up, set the station as your target, put SAS in stability assist and put the nav ball in target mode.
Wait until it is almost overhead again (you want to be just in front of the station, but it's better to be early than late). When you are, fire your engines at full throttle.
After about a second of going up set your SAS to target retrograde. This is sideways in the right direction.
Switch to map mode and stop your burn when you have a close approach. Depending on your launch timing you may need to loft above your targets orbit a little bit, but you should be able to get a close approach consistently about 1/3 to 1/2 of the way around the Mun.
Make whatever minor adjustments you need to refine your close approach.
Kill off the rest of your relative velocity at the close approach. You are now in orbit and set to dock back up.
Profit.
I'm just trying to get a little more detail on this, as there isn't a whole lot of info about EO rendezvous online that I can find. I understand that direct descent is strapping a big vehicle on top a big rocket that will perform the entirety of the mission. But Earth orbit rendezvous kind of sounds the same as lunar orbit rendezvous to me. Except articles suggest that it would also essentially be a direct descent vehicle once the EO rendezvous was performed.
This is written for a lady, you have to take on her mindset to enjoy it. All you have to know about her is that she's beautiful, has a bit of a submissive streak, and deserves endless pleasure.
The doorbell rings. You rush to your front door; you open it to find nothing but a lonely package sitting on your doorstep. The package is small, the size of a ring box, and it is rather unremarkable. The dull ivory of the box is only offset by the baby blue bow that holds the lid on. You undo the bow, remove the lid and find as you expected, as you hoped for, a key and a note. The note reads:
> Red Room #843; I will arrive at three oβclock this afternoon. Leave a note with the front desk telling me where you will be waiting. The bow that sealed this box: if I find you wearing in your hair I will take you right then and there. Be sure to dress appropriately.
Your heart beats so hard and fast it nearly leaps through your chest. You knew this day was coming, but suddenly the game is so much more real. Today you will indeed live out one or more of your fantasies. And at the Red Room no less, a fancy hotel for sure, but a place with a reputation for being the destination in town for celebrities and high-class hookers.
You dress as you know is appropriate. You put on a nice long black upscale dress, no panties beneath of course. You then slip on your golden heels and gold jewelry. To complete the look you tie your hair back in a single ponytail using the blue ribbon; it somehow just doesnβt seem to fit with the rest of your outfit. It jumps out at you, it draws attention, but after all that must be the point of it.
As time always does, it skips you from event to event. It seems like only seconds ago you heard the knock on your door and now youβre already entering the Red Room, taking your first step into the unknown which awaits you this afternoon. Through the spinning door you enter, and your head spins.
Lost in a whirlwind of thoughts you nearly walk right past the front desk. Pausing you spin, deposit the note as instructed, then you head for the elevator without a word.
The elevator is packed; at least a dozen people are in it when the door opens. Several leave, some donβt move, and at least three people enter with you. You know I anticipate your fantasy, and somehow you expect Iβm one of the people already on the elevator, just waiting for you to arrive. Or maybe Iβm one of the people who just got on. You donβt know, and as weβve never met in person
... keep reading on reddit β‘Don't want maps or F1 coordinates, I've already played the game through once, so don't mind spoilers. I'm trying to play through the game a second time without using outside help and I have no way to find the island. When I initially went to it to meet the Sunbeam, I explored the cave system afterwards, filled up my inventory, and then went back to base expecting to go back later for story progression. Now I can't find it. I have the following waypoints currently:
