A list of puns related to "Kisumu"
I will be visting Kakamega and Kisumu in a month or so... What are some interestings things to do there? Also are there any good places you recommend for good eats?
Came to Kenya a few weeks ago. In Kisumu now for a few days and more than once have I heard the muezzin's call from the nearby mosque. Only sometimes it was ... a women's voice! Am I hallucinating?
Is there any article/background info how that's "allowed" in Kenya? Never saw that in any of the middle eastern countries I traveled.
(Don't get me wrong, I think it's awesome and sounds much more chill than the men's call!)
Edit: asked a local and she said it might be the voice of a young teenager. I'm not convinced.

Over the weekend I walked into Marie Stopes to inquire about vasectomy. The nurse I met was very helpful though had many questions on why someone so young would want to be child free. However she managed to breakdown the process.
A few years ago I visited Kisumu, Kenya - Roanoke's Sister City and took photos of plaques signifying the relationship in Kisumu City Hall. I also made a video about my visit.
