A list of puns related to "The Most Dangerous Game"
"People say Skyrim is one of the most dangerous places in Tamriel. I think they're wrong..." - LIONESS, Mjoll the.
Considering the lore, the ecosystem, the weather and the people themselves, what province would be the most dangerous to live for a below-average person (like a farmer or a shopkeeper that usually has no more than an iron dagger to defend themselves)
Just thought it was interesting
This is an adventure designed for 5th-level players who can be trusted to rely on their brains as often as their weapons. It also relies upon players being able to separate their OOC and IC knowledge, so plan accordingly.
"The most dangerous game... is man" -- Someone who definitely didn't live in a D&D World.
Robert Henry William Nigel Gladstone IV is one of the most accomplished hunters in the multiverse. He has hunted everything from tigers to T-Rexes and has even taken part in a legendary tarrasque hunt. Unfortunately, those creatures presented little in the way of tactical challenge forcing the ambitious Giff to up his game.
Gladstone has heard of an elusive quarry on a nearby island and is seeking a dedicated group of adventurers to accompany him and his pack of blink dogs in hunting βthe most dangerous game.β If the adventurers are interested, he will offer them a large sum of gold in addition to the obvious glory. He will instruct them to gear up and meet him at the local docks the next day so that they can set out.
The obvious reference here is that Gladstone is planning to hunt the party. If the players know the reference, you might have to remind them about the difference between Out of Character and In Character knowledge. If they (wisely) refuse Gladstoneβs offer, after they fall asleep that night they will awaken on a jungle island, groggy and unsure how they got there (this is the absolute last resort tactic). Once on the island, the party will become separated from Gladstone. If they accepted his offer, he might suddenly break away from the group with his pack of blink dogs. If the party found themselves on the island for any other reason, the adventure will begin in earnest once the party travels into the jungle.
This element of the adventure has a great deal of freedom. Depending on how quickly your party realizes they are being hunted, they might not need much prompting to spring into action. The goal of this section is to create a sense of urgency and panic. The forest presents a number of possible challenges, such as fording rivers or crossing large chasms. The possibilities are endless and ought to be tailored to any individual partyβs strengths and/or weaknesses.
If you need to add more urgency to the situation, begin to show signs of Gladstone approaching. The baying of dogs, large crashing in the undergrowth, even shots ringing out near the party. They should get the idea that they are now

It's not really about the fact that these things are dangerous, but rather the fact that the vast majority of the threats you face in the game (outside of boss fights) only comes from these things i.e. that actual living mobs rarely threaten you anymore.
Granted, many of them are dangerous, but what wasteland would be the least safe for the average, non-faction-oriented person to travel around in?
Kyler:
>"I always say, if I didnβt turn the ball over, I feel like we wouldβve won the game just because we were moving the ball and those were kind of crucial turnovers. Iβve just got to learn from it, move on and weβll get better from it."
>"I couldnβt really get out of the pocket and move like that. For me, honestly, I think it helped me out, just standing in there and going through reads and progressions. I think itβs a teaching lesson, a learning lesson for me. Iβm kind of glad. Everything happens for a reason. I thought we played well today despite two turnovers that cost us."
Kliff:
On Kyler
>"I thought it was his best game by far, considering he was playing at what percent he was playing, andΒ to be able to go on the road and still do his thing and keep your team in it, make a bunch of plays, that's the most proud of him I've been all season."
>"The fumbles werenβt on him, one we snapped it and we werenβt prepared for. The other was a good toss and [Kenyan Drake] took his eyes off it, just things you canβt do. And those throws, if heβs 100% I think he makes. Heβs a little out of wack playing with that banged up hamstring, but he kept battling and gave us a chance to win at the end.β
>"Throughout his career thereβs going to be plenty of times where he doesnβt feel 100% and he has to go out there and be the face of the franchise that heβs going to be for the next 10-12 years and give it his best. His teammates respect that, his coaches respect that and I thought he did a heck of a job under the circumstance.β
On Chandler Jones
>"I knew theyβd have a plan. (Head Coach) Sean (McVay) and his offensive staff, they do a great job. They werenβt going to let him wreck the game, but he still had a tackle-for-loss, deflected three or four balls. He made his impact like he has the entire year. They had a great scheme to try to not allow him to get home.β
On Fitz
>ββPlease come back.β Thatβs pretty much it. I think heβs playing as good as anybody, honestly. You watch what he does week-in and week-out, the little things, the blocking and the toughness that he brings to the offensive side of the football. We missed him twice for huge plays yesterday. Heβs just still creating separation. He does it all.β
Review of the season
>"Weβll have those personnel discussions coming up. Overall looking at it, I felt like we were competitive and had a chance to win a bunch of games. This league it comes down to one-score games, and we wer

Well with time I figured out most of my trips to psychiatry were from meltdowns rather than psychosis. I tried to ask him to screen for autism once and, without knowing me that well in the first place nor asking any questions, got denied straight away. Well I just had a meltdown which was the exact same as my so called episode which led to schizoaffective diagnosis and, since my parents werent there to make it worst now that I live on my own, it passed. Pretty sure they think when I said he said would have slapped me if he was my dad that was a delusion, or some other gaslighting bs scenario. This is the chief of the emergency in our local psychiatry, the staff backs the fuck out of him, I'm now a schizo to them because I tried to switch psychiatrist but got gaslit into not doing it: "But he's a good psychiatrist" "You'll need him to make a referral(so manipulative i dont even think thats true)"
I can't believe out of everything so far the fucking RATS are whats causing me grief. If I get bit twice, I get poisoned and even if I have all 5 healing flasks, it still will 100% inevitably kill me. There is no point once I get poisoned, I just jump off a cliff, die, and try again.
What is the point in even letting me live? If you're going to give me a death sentence, just kill me instead. I don't get it.
Fuck the rats and fuck their poison bullshit. Its so stupid how one little mechanic makes them 10x more powerful than any of the sword wielding dudes.
UPDATE: Thanks to the tips and support of this fine community (seriously, you guys are great) I have made it past the rats! I made it past a massive rhino made out of tin which i didn't even try to take on, made it past a few new enemies (the big knight guys) and then the game wanted me to take this fucker on. I thought about that for two seconds... he looks like the guy under the bridge and on top of that tower from earlier on, the guys i couldn't beat once... so I took the side route and lo and behold, found another bonfire oh thank god!!
so wich finale do u think could be the hardest to compete on ?
I spend a lot of time hunting in RDO, so naturally I deal with my share of griefers. I used to get really pissed when I loaded up a horse with goods only to get shot yards away from the butcher shop, but now I've embraced it. If somebody attacks me unprovoked, I suspend my hunting trip (because what's the point? I already lost all my goods) and make it my mission in life to murder them over and over again until they leave the server or call parley/feud (if they call parley I let 'em go, if they call feud I take the challenge and then let them go). At which point I feel I have "won" the territory and can hunt in peace, or give it over to them instead and leave if they whip my ass soundly enough. Everybody has to get trounced occasionally to learn to be better.
Advantages:
Teaches griefers not to bite off more than they can chew
Gives me a chance to practice lasso and hogtieing people
Gives me a chance to farm experience and practice headshots and PvP for showdowns/series
Lets me pistol-whip people who harassed me directly in the face
Lets me drag assholes behind my horse repeatedly
Vindication boah
Disadvantages:
Have to put off hunting for a little while
Wasted ammo on assholes
Lose about $6-7 in goods
Last night somebody shot me and my horse outside the butcher in St. Denis when I was loaded up with exotic birds and a perfect alligator pelt. I chased them back to their own camp, lassoed them to drag them out them out of their circle of invincibility, and shot them in the face. They left the server.
10/10 would hunt griefers again. Hope you enjoyed the spoonbills Lil Star, you yellow-bellied cur.
TL;DR - Try not to get wound up about griefers, they're gonna happen and they've got to be put down. Avenge thyself sir.
You, my fellow friend, are addicted to this game even before launch. You know it. I know it. Your disapointed family knows it. Because of that addiction, you are massively worried that after waiting for so long you may not be able to log in when the launch of Classic finally arrives. You've spent days, weeks, months even, wondering how to dodge the humongous queues that your server, even if it's not Herod or Shazzrah will inevitably have. Because you are spending day and night browsing this subreddit like the sick maniac you are, you are aware of the last info we have about how the login process will work. You read the AMA. You know that the devs want to enable Character Selection before the launch so the gray "Enter World" button becomes red. You are also aware that the Character Selection menu will kick you out after 30 minutes, no matter what you do (click, create a new character, delete an old one, etc.). You make your calculations. You keep your secret. You think you finally have it.
"I will login 25 minutes before launch", you decide. You feel like a genius. You try to downvote every post that is talking about this. Finally, you will be able to skip the dreaded queue.
You think you have it. But you don't.
Because on launch day, if you want to play as soon as the servers are up, you have to play another game.
The Most Dangerous Game.
Let me explain.
BEFORE WE BEGIN, OR WHY THIS WHOLE EXPLANATION PROBABLY WON'T MATTER
The Most Dangerous Game will only occur if everything happens as Blizzard meant on the Q&A.
>Q: Will servers be brought down at some point before release or will players be able to sit at character select waiting for βEnter Worldβ to activate? 76
>
>A: We are likely to perform some kind of realm restarts or maintenance between now and launch. However, in the minutes leading up to launch, our plan is that the realms will be up and available and the Enter World button will instantly light up once weβre launched.
To sum up:
Also, The Most Dangerous Game requires that the servers are up hours before launch and without any crashes in between. This might be a bit of a stretch, but I think that is the intenti
