A list of puns related to "The Devil's Rejects"
I like House of 1000 Corpses and love The Devil's Rejects, but I find the Fireflies too simplistic and unlikable to sustain a series. House of 1000 Corpses worked because they were simply antagonists, and The Devil's Rejects worked because it was comparing the moralistic sheriff to the amoral Fireflies, and ultimately showing how they're no different from each other. But I couldn't get into 3 From Hell because I don't want to watch three psychopaths get away with murder, torture and rape endlessly, learning nothing, never changing, and never suffering any repercussions. The Devil's Rejects was the perfect ending to their story; they didn't die at the hands of the sheriff through slow, sadistic torture, because no one deserves to die that way. Instead, they were put down like the rabid dogs they were. It's very unsatisfying to see them survive that, and then to get out of prison (through incredibly contrived, illogical means) and just go on as they were before, hurting innocent people just 'cause.
It's a shame Rob Zombie wasn't able to move on from the horror genre after Lords of Salem, as he had wanted to. I genuinely think everything he did up to and including Lords of Salem was at the very least interesting and passionate. But with 31 and 3 From Hell, you can't tell the passion is no longer there as these aren't the movies he wants to make. It's just all he can get made at this point.
I suppose this wonβt be an issue for most but I figured Iβd let you all know.
I contacted Fathom Events and they told me that the third night double feature is playing 3 From Hell first, then Rejects.
Personally I would prefer to watch the films in the order they came out just for the sake of viewing it as one epic story so I guess Iβll be rewatching Rejects on Blu-ray instead this time around and attending night two for 3 From Hell...
It was fucking incredible. I'd also definitely recommend listening to the Rob Zombie JRE Podcast, episode #1353 if you're a Rob Zombie fan.
This link: https://www.google.com/amp/s/movieweb.com/amp/three-from-hell-teaser-trailer/ So Rob Zombie is doing a sequel to The Devil's Rejects, probably one of my top 5 favorite movies of all time. (For the record, up there with, like, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and The Departed. I must have eclectic tastes.) Not so much a fan of his stuff in general, even the original House of 1,000 Corpses, which came off a bit carnival-ish to me, but The Devil's Rejects... the old school vibe, the soundtrack, the detestable-yet-somehow-sympathetic characters, the gritty cinematography...always looooved it. Just discovered that Three From Hell will be debuting next year sometime, and while I'm so stoked to see more of Captain Spaulding, Baby Firefly (meh), and OTIS DRIFTWOOD, I also kinda have mixed feelings, like one would with any sequel that could potentially ... tarnish the original? I've never felt the same way about "Free Bird" after TDR, and I fear perhaps Zombie should just let sleeping dogs lie. But at the same time... more of Otis, "I am the devil, and I'm here to do the devil's work"??!! Does anyone else have any thoughts??
I loved most of Rob Zombies movies , looking for similar books that are about backward people in the woods, something with suspense thriller action that just wants you to read that book.
Has anyone else tried watching the devils rejects? Iβve tried on two different amazon accounts now both with shudder subscriptions, on the tv and on my prime video app. Every time the screen freezes at around 38 minutes and remains that way for the rest of the film. No issues with any other films Iβve been watching with shudder today

> Accompanied by a boom of gunfire and the cornball-epic strains of βFreebird,β the final freeze frame of Rob Zombieβs The Devilβs Rejects felt as conclusive as the one that concludes Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid. As it turns out, though, it will take more than β20 bullets apieceβ to keep Otis (Bill Moseley), Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie), and Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig) down. In the grand, franchise-prolonging tradition of Elm Street nightmares and Friday the 13ths past, Zombieβs new movie, 3 From Hell, reveals that the redneck serial-killer desperados of his most acclaimed freak show beat the million-to-one odds and lived through their kamikaze game of chicken with the law. βNo one would have thought it possible that a human body could survive that,β a reporter remarks over the grainy newsreel footage of the prologue. You said it, pal.
> Zombie introduced the murderous Firefly clan 16 years ago in House Of 1,000 Corpses, which essentially remade The Texas Chain Saw Massacre in the carnival-strip-club style of his music videos. Whereas Tobe Hooper locked us into the raw panic and terror of his victimsβa key reason Chain Sawβs snuff-movie power hasnβt diminished one iota in four-plus decadesβZombie seemed more interested in the perpetrators, vulgar hillbilly psychopaths who did their dirty deeds with a cocked eyebrow and vaudevillian flamboyance. By the sequel, 2005βs proudly depraved The Devilβs Rejects, the shock-rocker dropped any pretense of identifying with the βgood guys,β transforming the surviving members of the unholy Firefly family into mythic β70s outlaws, their rampage contrasted with the sanctioned sadism of The Man. (Whoβs the real monster? Still the torturing rapists, Rob.) It was an ugly, cruel film, but one made with an undeniable grindhouse zealβa vision, however depressing.
> The Fireflies look even less like villains, and even more like folk heroes, in 3 From Hell, Zombieβs cut-rate and deeply unwarranted continuation of his throwback B-movie saga. The film opens with them safely behind bars. Ten years on death row hasnβt triggered any remorse in these natural born killers, but it has earned them a fanbase; like Mickey, Mallory, or Manson before them, theyβve become jailhouse celebrities, defended by hippies (βFree The Three,β goes the rallying cry) siblings Otis and Baby would scarcely hesitate to carve into mincemeat. Thereβs the f
... keep reading on reddit β‘first off i like to say i do huge doses (i prefer 1000mg+) and i used to do DXM frequently but not so much recently so.., My mate asked me what movie i wanted to watch since i couldnt put it on myself and i chose this one and holy shit... I had the most vivid hallucinations (delusions???) EVER watching a fucking movie, there was A TON of extra scenes, dialogue, 4th wall breaking, behind the scenes green screen moments, breakdowns of how they did this or that, Otis looked like another man in a costume, everyone looked like they were in a fleshy costume, scenes broke down around the characters sometimes like if the world fell apart around them leaving with a flash of every color then bright green and a black border around them, i cant fully explain in words just how vivid these were i know it sounds cheesy as hell but the best thing i can compare it to is those dumbass trippy drug art project videos on youtube and i didnt think twice on it because since 3 From Hell is coming out i thought Rob Zombie did this badass spin of devils rejects i was watching on purpose for promotion?? at one point i asked my friend if this was DLC haha, i still can't believe how incredibly strong this OTC medicine is. Do not underestimate DXM, all hail fucking dex
These are my top 2 horror movies. I'm looking for anything similar. I know this question has been asked before, but that was years ago. Any good underrated movies that have slipped by? I love Rob Zombie's artistic style. It reminds me a lot of Quentin Tarantino's style. I absolutely love that! Any suggestions or if anyone just wants to discuss horror films, welcome along!
Sid Haigβs wife reported on his Instagram (in the comments) that heβs currently in ICU. Donβt have any other information.

Iβll update if anything comes up. Hope he pulls through.
He uploaded the original poster on Instagram and said: Just curious would anybody be interested in watching another movie starring these three characters? #robzombie #SheriMoonZombie #sidhaig #billmoseley #thedevilsrejects

Between Kingsman: Secret Service and The Devils Rejects, which movie do you believe better used the song Free Bird?
Real cool guys. Just fed me a ton of valuable loot like stasis modules and void eggs. I never asked them for it, just ran into them. If you meet them online, know that you just met one of the most amazing NMS players ever.
does it ever say why the police were all going to the fireflys house?
curious how they were tipped off they seemed very surprised
