A list of puns related to "The Cutting Room Floor (website)"
Just noted some Johns rewrites that were in the trailer, but absent from the movie.
"I hear you can talk to fish."
"It's good to see you playing well with others [again]."
"Dressed like a bat? I dig it...."
"Maybe temporary."
And of course, the biggest one:
"Ride ain't over yet."
"Mah man!"
(Scene was Snyder's, just different context. Now it's:
"You're Welcome..."
"Mah man!")
Anything else I'm missing?
But surprisingly, most of the jokes/one liners seen in the trailers were indeed Terrio/Snyder's. Such as "More more or more less?" or "My Turn" or "Thanks Alfred, but I'll take it from here/Uh... Do I know you?" or "I bought the bank" or "I'm rich."
I personally enjoyed it more.
As the title says. I'm hoping one of these updates will deal with some events and focused not having localization, as well as fixing some problems with unmentioned countries.

I'll use this deleted scene (the first one) from Avengers: Endgame cause it's what prompted me to write about this, but it serves as a great example because it's not important to the film overall and yet it serves to humanize the characters, get us a little more invested in the stakes by showing us the life he has to sacrifice in order to don the suit again, and just gives us a little more time with these characters we've grown attached to over the years. At least for me, anyway.
Yeah, it's perhaps a superfluous scene in a film with a considerable runtime, but I don't care, I always want more little character moments like that.
For the non-existent number of directors and editors who won't be reading this post, could you stop doing that, please?
Anyone got any examples of deleted scenes like that you wish were kept in films, or just any in general? I always like seeing that sort of stuff.
Considering the fact that a lot of the other African nations are part of it I wondered if it will be included in that update.
Anyone else feel like there was more content in the story that was cut out to save time due to COVID or other reasons?
For Example: I really dig the Hulk skins with the war paint, but why would they have an exclusive Funko Pop! and Marvel Legends figure for what is just a skin? It makes more sense that there was a section early in the story about Hulk living out in wilderness, maybe with a group of followers or something that was cut. (Maybe I missed a reference somewhere, only a few missions into the end-game content.)
Additionally, the end of story seemed to move a lot quicker than I expected. I think there were some decent-sized cuts made, what do you guys think?
Asking cause I can't wait to see focus tree for Huttigia.
Exalted Reincarnated is a big project, and I recognize it for the beast that it is. I'm trying to take an entire decade+ of content and rebuild it from the ground up.
This means that there is going to be a fair bit that is going to fall on the cutting room floor--both because it doesn't fit the new mentality, or simply because I just have to pare down things to make it more manageable.
I want to muse on some of things to bring you through my thought process, so--even if you don't agree--you can at least understand. And remember the Golden Rule: If you don't like it, change it.
First, I need to explain my core, fundamental rules for Exalted Reincarnated:This is a game of demigod superheroes, who are also flawed human beings. Theirs is a story of heroism and changing a world, but also an exploration of the flaws humanity has, and how even our mighty titans are not perfect.
As well, I want to make Exalted Reincarnated better at being a game that a group of friends play. One of my biggest complaints about existing Exalted is that it encourages silo-d, individual playstyles, rather than group play. (e.g. "I'm a social character, and it's a fight scene, so....guess I'll look at my phone for the next hour.)

Warstriders are the prime example of things I've had to cut just for space. I love them to death--who wouldn't? But as beloved as they are, they actually aren't used a lot, so not making specific rules for them frees up a lot of time and effort.
Naval Combat (Sail) is the prime example of something that is cut because it doesn't fit the new mentality. If one player has Sail and wants to do an epic ship battle, the other characters who don't have sail become twiddling their thumbs while this complicated scene goes on without them. Now, combat can still happen on the open seas, and there is no reason your Navigation player can't be instrumental in that scene, but it isn't the same as Naval Combat.
Mounted Combat (Ride). Is pretty much the same argument as Sail.
Large-Scale Combat (War). This is different from "fighting a bunch of enemies at once", which is still is in the game. Large-Scale combat is sending armies to war. This is earmarked for "Probably a modular expansion." As your character grows and becomes more powerful, it will be natural for your character to amass followers, and even start building an empire. I do want to support that, eventually, but it will probably be rolled into a more expansive subsystem. i.
... keep reading on reddit β‘I came across these scary statistics on the wastes and pollution in the clothing industry:
https://edgexpo.com/fashion-industry-waste-statistics/
Especially crazy: "Second to oil, the clothing and textile industry is the largest polluter in the world" and it contributes "10% of global greenhouse gas emissions due to its long supply chains and energy intensive production."

Hi everyone! I'll make this quick.
I'm starting a film history podcast called Off The Cutting Room Floor and the first season is about Little Shop! I've been working on this for about 4 years now and I'm excited to finally get this out into the world.
There's currently a show announcement on the feed, explaining a bit about what the format will be like, along with two Little Shop Day promos with the hosts of Rumor Flies reading some cut pieces from the musical and film, including this unused lyric sketch.
Untitled lyric sketch. Howard Ashman papers, Library of Congress.
The show is available on Anchor, along with Stitcher, Spotify, Google Play, and a few other places, with hopefully more soon. Find the show everywhere @OTCRoomPod and the website at http://cuttingroompod.tumblr.com
In Cutting Room Floorβs description, the mod author states that Niryaβs quest was added back.
βResearch Thief - An unfinished quest at the College of Winterhold. Nirya has something she'd like you to do. (Repeatable radiant quest)β
Apparently this quest was supposed to get her approval up so you could marry her. I imagine doing Research Thief would make her marriageable again but I just wanted to be sure. Thanks!
Just watching the Angela episode and sometimes when I watch this show i wonder what is going on with the editors, if they are putting in some kinds of meta jokes because sometimes the decisions made seem odd to me.
Like the soundtracks seem a bit... out of place? Like I know this show is heavily formulated, but when Angela is in the hotel room waiting for her dinner, this really weird song starts playing and I start thinking of the editors and wondering what they choose to show and why? And the music selections are weird (don't ask me what would be better, I can't think of anything specifically, I wonder if the studio hires studio musicians to make custom soundtracks?)
Another thing that I find odd is their decision to show these people in the shower. They already have massive social anxiety and say as much when they talk about going out in public, but suddenly they have to go in the shower with a tv crew filming them? Personally I would NOT be ok with this, I don't know how they can stand it. I get really empathetic anxiety when I see that.
And of course there are the parts that even though I'm feeling empathy and know intellectually it's scary and they get hurt, they seem also funny, like when Steven Assanti falls off the golf cart or the "ow my leg!" times or when they are in denial/lying or have extreme cognitive dissonance and are trying to pull one over on their loved ones and/or Dr Now.
Anyone else see really funny editorial decisions?
