A list of puns related to "The Bee Family"
The Beeβs Niece
Why do you beehive like this?
We were celebrating my other niece's 2nd birthday, when my 5-year-old niece comes up to me and says, "Hey Uncle, wanna play a game?"
"Sure. What game?"
"You pick a letter and I say three words that start with that letter."
Since it was her sister's birthday, I picked "B", assuming that sheβll probably say "Birthday".
She was like, "Okay⦠B... B... BB..."
I sat there for a second in a moment of defeat...
"Yes. Those are all words."
You little shit.
Edit for the Dad-impaired: "Be... Bee... BB..."
2nd Edit: Awesome! Each of my nieces got me to the top of this sub! Here's the one about the 2-year-old.
Bee was making a list for her New Yearβs Eve party. She asked her friend Grasshopper for help.
βWho should I invite?β βHow about those ants thatβve been your next door neighbors for years? You invite them every year.β βI guess soβ¦ I find them a bit old-fashioned though.β βI think theyβre quaint. Also you should invite the new young ant family down the street.β βYeah, they seem so nice.β
Bee sent out most of her invites but in her rush forgot her next door neighbors. New Yearβs Eve came and the party started at Beeβs house. Grasshopper came early to help Bee out as always, and noticed the unsent invites on the counter. Oh well, too late. The doorbell rang and Grasshopper went to open the door. It was the ants from next door.
And so it came to be that Grasshopper said to himself on New Yearβs Eve:
βShoot, the older quaint ants Bee forgot.β
A young kid had just made a deal with one of the sharks and got a $300,000 investment in his natural flavored bee honey company.
After the deal was made, he walked to his parents waiting outside, explained the situation and the family joyfully embraced and his mother exclaimed "Ohhh, honey!"
Dad - "...Was that a pun?"
Kevin is looking around his house for his family, who have just left to go to the airport without him.
Kevin: "Buzz? Buzz? Buzzzzz?"
Dad: "Well, he's a shitty bee isn't he"
My family was all gathered around in the living room talking about the blue birds that keep trying and failing to fly in our windows (this has been going on for a few weeks). My mom mentioned that earlier today she noticed a bee doing the same thing, trying to get in through the glass. My dad then said, "Woah now, I didn't know we were gonna have a conversation about the birds and the bees!"
