A list of puns related to "The Amity Affliction"
TAA are back with their seventh album. While the album doesn't exactly see a return to the bands heavier Metalcore sound the album definitely sounds like a cross between their last album Misery and Let The Ocean Take Me (as well as their other albums). This is also their first album under Pure Noise Records.
Tracklist:
Coffin
All My Friends Are Dead
Soak Me In Bleach
All I Do Is Sink
Baltimore Rain
Aloneliness
Forever
Just Like Me
Born To Lose
Fever Dream
Catatonia
Hey everyone,
I thought it would be interesting to do a discussion on the band sales. The Amity Affliction sold 9,300 copies of Everyone Loves You...Once You Leave Them. The album The Death of Me by Polaris sold about 2,325 copies. Lastly, The Word Alive Monomania sold 1,700 copies. This was significantly less than Violent Noise which was 2,400 and Dark Matter which was 7,250.
Polaris and TWA didn't chart the Billboard 200, but I do think that this a big number from Polaris since they only toured twice in the United States. One with Like Moths to Flames and Parkway Drive.

The song is already out in Australia on Spotify according to Hysteria Mag. Says itβs going to more of an extreme metal sound compared to Misery.
The music and lyrics of this Australian Band resonate with my AVPD
Hi,
I'm trying to sell some records that I just don't listen to that much anymore. All of them have been played maybe 2-3 times and they are all in pretty much NM state. Buyer pays shipping and I will ship anywhere (I live in Germany). If you are interested in anything shoot me a DM and I will let you know all the shipping options and prices for wherever you are located. Prices are set around/lower than discogs prices. Paypal only.
(Since I've received a few DM's by people living in the US who lost interest due to the shipping costs: Shipping to the US costs either 16β¬ or 20β¬, depending on if you want it tracked. These are the cheapest shipping prices I know of.)
Moose Blood - Blush (White/Blue/Pink Tri-Color) - 38β¬ 35β¬
Departures - Teenage Haze (TESTPRESSING, Holy Roar Records) - 44β¬
Being as an Ocean - Waiting For Morning To Come (Red with Black Smoke) - 44β¬ 40β¬
Northlane - Mesmer (Clear Blue with Blue Splatter) - 23β¬
The Amity Affliction - This Could Be Heartbreak (Clear) - 50β¬ 45β¬
Boston Manor - Saudade (Pink) - 15β¬ 14β¬
Parkway Drive - Reverence (Gold with Black and Red Splatter) - 36β¬ 33β¬
Feel free to ask me any questions!
Thanks!
I'm in that weird area where pop-punk is too "cheery" and metalcore is too "screamy". My two favorite bands, the amity affliction and close to home have amazing clean vocals and amazing post hardcore instrumentals. Here's a few examples:
Close To Home - Don't Waste Your Breath (I typically skip from 0:59 to 1:30 to avoid the screams)
The Amity Affliction - Father's Son (I typically skip to the cleans here)
The Amity Affliction - Don't Lean On Me ( I skip the screamy sections)
Pabst Blue Ribbon On Ice - The Amity Affliction (I love the instrumentals here so much, I skip the screamy parts)
Other examples of what I like:
A Day to Remember - Mr.Highway's Thinking About the End ( I skip to the cleans)
I enjoy most of "Of Mice & Men" - "The Flood" Album
I enjoy most of "Our Last Night" - "Oak Island"
Edit: Thanks so much everyone, I appreciate everyone's recommendations! By all means, keep them coming.
Hey all
Just spreading the word that the Belmont/Silent Planet/Senses Fail/Amity show is cancelled in Chicago tonight, with no reschedule in sight and they are refunding everyone.
I get that it's cold but I'm still disappointed. My wife and I were going to do the Meet and Greet with Amity and they probably wont be back in the states for the rest of the year. Really bummed. Stay warm fellow midwesterners.
